Just would like to take some times to continue my next chapter..
Done another 100km today, mainly city drive, jammed, lots of traffic light, waiting in the car and so on...this lead to the FC dropped significant to 16km/l ( from 20km/l) and range dropped from 1k+ to 700+ and still dropping. Surprisingly, the auto stop doesn't causes the aircon to produce hot air, the air con is as good as when the engine is running. I've to test further if the ( auto stop ) functions will start the engine when it detected that it's no longer producing cool air due to very hot weather or too often of stoppage ( BMW 520i having the function to auto start again when the engine need the power even the break is being continuing press ) 

May be it's my wrong assumption on :- engine stop ---> compressor stop ----> hot air....,
You're right, FC high which indicated dropping of mileage covered. Anyway, the FC for civic hybrid is acceptable to me, and running at highway is very much better. Overall I should be achieving RM0.10 to 0.14/km.

The new civic is really a great car to drive! Hd a test drive in usj sc. So tempted to upgrade!!

I've tested K5 & sonata 2.0, the civic definitely was the winner in terms of acceleration

Does it related in between what car he drive with the comment?

Driving a persoma now. And not all the cars i test seem to be excellent. The civic reallly is something special!

Hello, our lovely bro raised up his concern where someone claims K5 beat down civic in terms of performance. Of course the answer is No!

That's pretty good, my first gen vios only traded in for 56k back in 2008. After bank repayment, I was only left with 32k. It was also a 3 year old car with 67k mileage.

Does our Civic come with Traction Control and speed sensitive control power steering ? Read the manual but it doesn't say anything of them. Thanks.

dugong actually looks OK otherwise there won't be so many dugong on the road. But I don't quite rike it la I like this new Civic, and new Elantra, and K5, just that money don't like me, I can't own 3 of them at once.

The only thing i found out is the engine idle sound a bit rough while on the stock engine oil. Perhaps new car they didnt use fully syn? Exhaust sounds like diesel sound by the way..hehehe
probably need Change the ori exhaust to some after market exhaust ( will this void warranty?)

BTW, completed 1100km with average of 11.5km/l on 80% city 20% highway (econ on & off). Believed the FC could better if managed to push more highway drive, not bad.

Plan to change engine oil at 1000km service, wanna get rid of metal debris.....gonna use 5W-30, then 5 mths later upgrade it to 0W-20.....i find it hurtful to stay wiv stock oil till 6 mths or 10,000km

2-ways from puchong to sepang via putrajaya highway, speed between 90-120kmph & managed to get between 14km/l to 15km/l. Then it further drop to 12km/l after my 5 days full city drive. I've no auto cruise 

But Honda M'sia recommends the new SM 0W-20 for this 2012 Honda Civic. I am not going to change oil at 1000km interval, that will be too hardcore.

I'm gonna change at 1 mth/ 1000km, which Honda juz do checking. Then, 5 mths later, change again. Then follow the 6 mths interval as planned (dun think I will hit the mileage, seldom drive).....

Yeah thats quite good. What's your instant FC at 110kmph? Mine is 9.1L/100km and 10.20L/100km at 160kmph during highway cruising.
