QUOTE(Mamapapamsia @ Aug 29 2012, 09:54 AM) Thats nothing lah. After so many months and the q is only 3900? Please compare with the latest civic, just launch and the q is much longer than the elantra. Besides, most of the sales of elantra are for the 1.6 so dont be so happy. Why should i be happy if the queue is long? I think its bad. Btw, whats the queue for the Civic? And most of the Civic sales for the 2.0 model i guess? QUOTE(stix @ Aug 29 2012, 11:06 AM) i've seen the hybrid once. built quality and refinement is surprisingly good, even compared to the 1.8 and 2.0 i guess this is where the japan marques pawn the koreans. quality. Well my 9 yr old Vios never had a single squeek or rattle the whole time so yes i can vouch for that quality. Not sure bout Koreans yet. The new generation cars are still new so we'll have to wait and see.

QUOTE(zweimmk @ Sep 3 2012, 11:30 AM) More 1.8s Civic impressions
1. Car is quite stable at high speeds, that floaty feeling only comes in around 130km/hr or so but noise level is considered quite good for this class of cars. Wind noise remains to be a problem along the B pillars.
What's 'high speed' for you la? I would have thought high speeds would equate to 130kmph and above.

QUOTE(kc_lim @ Sep 5 2012, 09:42 AM) I got this too when drive above 100 km/h Yes its a common problem from the A pillar. Many cars suffer from this problem even the Optima. Rear seat passengers no issue.

QUOTE(stix @ Sep 11 2012, 02:35 PM) try sitting in an elantra. civic gives you a more solid feel and the refinement is way better. that's on the hybrid though. heard the 1.8 has poor fittings. Well i havent sat in the Hybrid but surely wasnt impressed with the 1.8 and 2.0. Interior plastics were really crappy. But seats were fine. Havent test drove yet but im sure Civic will be more refined.

QUOTE(polkadotdot @ Sep 12 2012, 11:45 PM) no problem guys..just small thing i can contribute for us who have the same passion..hihihi and make us easier to get info too rite.. Good effort but i think it should have just been a thread on LYN instead. If u notice, many other threads have gone silent. The only threads that are very active are those involving alot of mods so its an endless discussion or those with alot of empty talk. So unless u guys are interested in mods, this thread will start slowing once the initial excitement dies down. Right now all you guys are very excited about your new rides and thats perfectly fine. But once uve talked and compared almost all that you need to know, then things will start to slow and ull see its always the same few nicks chatting and responding.

QUOTE(ayie_acg @ Sep 17 2012, 01:57 AM) anyway just want to share the recent fuel consumption. yesterday refueled for RM50 and has been travelling for 325km with remaining 28km range displayed on the screen. 90% with ECON off and 90% highway driving with overall speed of approximately 140km/h. 28km range also displayed? Does it countdown to zero or is there a cut off range when the display stops?
