Anyone got Hybrid? Just read through internet - a lot of complaints on the battery. Got one case in Malaysia as well. Hmm, not sure if this new battery has improved. Any comments =).

Oh...good to know that. =)

But again, CRZ is still new right? Most of the cases happened after the car has been driven for long time.

The new Civic H again has a different sets of Battery (New) and thus, not very sure if anything will happen in the next 2 - 3 yrs.

Again, the new CH is tempting... =)

Why worry...5 yrs warranty...even after the warranty, by that time..the cost of replacing would have been cheaper than now. 5 yrs technology would have change a lot..

that IMA battery story is created without much basis as she should show photos and other related documents to back up her claim .

the technology for IMA battery have evolved and improved since and now its at 5 years warranty.

if nobody take or buy your car , why worry ,just continue using it as the Hybrid is so FC efficient . i heard Honda Hybrid can even be use without the IMA battery . can some expert testify

Yea, Saw someone commenting about it too saying even the battery fails, the vehicle can still run but purely on Petrol based on the small 1.3 Engine. Running like a normal car

As the new Civic is using Li-ion battery, reference to the past NiMH battery maybe irrelevant. As such, we might encounter totally new set of problems as this is the first Li-ion model in Malaysia.
BTW, I think all our laptop and mobile phone battery has moved from NiMH to Li-ion as well, hope this give us some sort of assusrance. sweat.gif

CRZ and new CH same 1.5L engine. However, battery pack is different. CH uses Li-Ion. So, cannot compare.
