As the new Civic is using Li-ion battery, reference to the past NiMH battery maybe irrelevant. As such, we might encounter totally new set of problems as this is the first Li-ion model in Malaysia.
BTW, I think all our laptop and mobile phone battery has moved from NiMH to Li-ion as well, hope this give us some sort of assusrance. |

In Hybrid, the auto lock is by default activated once we reach 15km/h. Maybe you could try driving for a while to test.

QUOTE(BravoZeroTwo @ Aug 8 2012, 10:26 AM) But somehow I think the road noise is quite obvious, not sure whether this is related to the Dunlop tyres.I also feel a bit inconvenience as the audio do not have mute or pause function and the back seat are unfoldable. Other than these, it is a great car to drive. |

QUOTE(CarOnLine @ Aug 9 2012, 11:40 PM) Just would like to take some times to continue my next chapter.. So far, I did not encounter this buzzer sound. Is there any message on MID or light shown in the intrument panel? I think it is better to check with HM quickly.Done another 100km today, mainly city drive, jammed, lots of traffic light, waiting in the car and so on...this lead to the FC dropped significant to 16km/l ( from 20km/l) and range dropped from 1k+ to 700+ and still dropping. Surprisingly, the auto stop doesn't causes the aircon to produce hot air, the air con is as good as when the engine is running. I've to test further if the ( auto stop ) functions will start the engine when it detected that it's no longer producing cool air due to very hot weather or too often of stoppage ( BMW 520i having the function to auto start again when the engine need the power even the break is being continuing press ) Trying to turning off the radio to observe the noise level ( using the power button on the radio as mute button ), and notice the noise coming from the tire was quite obvious....Hopefully, the noise will get lesser as the tire thread get smoothen out. Technically if the tire thread is bigger / broader --> noisy ---> can last longer, if the thread is smaller/more line ---> less noise ---> but the thread will be gone faster. I believe HM providing the current Dunlop may not the best option for sound noise. Another funny finding today, the desk board is producing some signal sound ( small buzzer bee sound ) for about 3~4 sec, on every alternate interval of 4~5 times on pressing the break....very low sound but irritating when you've notice the present. Did anybody do encountered the same scenario. Is it normal ? Will have to go back to HM for an answer. |

QUOTE(mysjumblesale @ Aug 13 2012, 10:00 AM) That means Honda gave non-ori and install it at Honda service centre, which in turn will NOT void warranty. This means we can buy any third party items to be installed via Honda service centre. Some SA just feel lazy to do it and say "WILL VOID warranty". think we should share this info and use it against them. =) But I believe she've done it outside Honda Service Centre. So now I might get her into trouble. Oops!Which branch la??? |
