because of the SAMOLED display, it'll look better with a black front.

in xda.....they said it is a defect.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1394358

it is not the black that bother me as the stain only visible at lowest brightness in dark room......
it is the stain mark in white screen that started to annoyed me...
no matter what brightness.....the stain mark is there

For Galaxy Nexus user who concern about your precious items get lost and want to locate it ,use lookout security apps in Market. It will locate your lost Phone using Google maps. For more usefull apps is PlanB.Same as lookout but different approach. The best part is Free,,,.

yes, using Lookout here too.
Beside lookout, other options are:
iTag, Prey, WaveSecure & Antidroidtheft.

A little buggy at times though, but I like the toolbar (?) scrolling. Pressing home button for the Sense-like preview lags too =\
But beggars can't be choosers. Best home screen launcher substitute to the stock ICS one.

Anyone here has set autobrightness here?
Mine seems not working and always with the lowest brightness no matter where the phone goes hmm.gif

The auto brightness will light up our screen when we exposed the sensor to light. Mine is working normal and it helps to conserve my battery juice :-)

if i am not mistaken, google will change the primary recovery to its own every time we reboot, so we have to rename the file, in order to reboot in cwm instead of going in fastboot mode every time.

i am not quite sure, need some pro to help too.

and i googled this, hope it helps

QUOTE
Why would you need to restore the stock recovery? To be able to successfully install an over-the-air (OTA) Android update from Google or your carrier.

Note: if, when you installed ClockworkMod custom recovery, you renamed your /system/recovery-from-boot.p file to make ClockworkMod "stick", you should be able to rename it back to its original name and then reboot to cause the stock recovery to be automatically re-flashed for you.
