Got my GNex yesterday. After 8 hours charging quickly root and flash with Android Revolution. Just a found out a few drawbacks

1. Cannot connect to Unifi Wifi (white/orange router). Can detect and save the signal/connection but cant connect. Dunno why.
2. Phone easily heat even just playing a few MP3s
3. Sound/Speaker is really slow. Even after use Volume+, still slow.

anyone know how to install the .apk? What is the best way to install it? Wanna try that Apex Launcher.

any fix for speaker loudness? volume+ boost a little bit only. Still slow. Missed a few calls already.

Yes. Sometimes my phone lag a bit. After playing heavy game like Asphalt, it will lag a bit. The transition animation between homescreen a bit slow and laggy. Just now now it stucks between homescreen. Need to lock n unlock it to unstuck it.

Only Android HD Revolution + Apex Launcher. At first everything smooth. Now it is laggy. Maybe because I install and uninstalled too many apps?

Many. Install until my drawer reach 6 pages. But then uninstall until down to 4 pages. No I did not adjust the CPU. Can you suggest any alternative launcher? I think Apex is lightest compared to Go and AWD.

I try to play with AOSP. But I stuck at step 4 which ask me to flash GAPPS. Where can I download GAPPS? What I know it is Google Apps package and currently version 4.0.3. I just dunno where to get it.

Another question what will happen if I do full wipe. All my downloaded .apk will be deleted? I store my .apk in sdcard.

Last nite I try AOSP and Bigxie. Found out whenever I click option like display, apps, battery, sound at setting page, it takes time to respond. The lag is quite noticeable. This not happen when I use Android Revo HD. Is it normal?

I try on M3 + Apexv5 first. Lag. Then I wipe and flash Bigxie. Lag also. Dun have idea what is the prob. Guess will flash back to Android Revo..

Anyone ever try flash the stock rom?
