yup, that's a weakness of AMOLED display, so best is not adjust the brightness to too low, unless you don't mind seeing it. tongue.gif

in my case... it apparent no matter what brightness it is.........
that picture was taken with full brightness...
the camera under exposed it

the question is how to use google wallet in malaysia.. well currently the only way is android market for now.. google wallet is a payment gateway not necessary link to nfc...

although during the day i cant see it......
i'm afraid in time.....it will get worst
must claim warranty....

they do still lit up. on a normal use...no one can notice it.
but in a dark room....very2 dark room ....i can notice it

Well, quite few users are obsessed over such display issues , looking for a perfect display. Personally as long as it looks right without such blotchy patches when in normal use under normal lighting conditions, I am happy with it. Anyone, I have tested my unit even in dark conditions, such effects are not that noticeable and even it is, it doesn't really matter much to me as I do not viewed my phone in very dark conditions. Even at night in bedroom, with lights all off , there is still some visible light in the room

the wallpaper used is wp clock, it's live wallpapaer.

some said auto brightness consumer more battery. mine is working on auto. might be rom bug?

in that case I think your display is indeed faulty, do you have anyone you can compare your gnex to?
you should probably try claiming warranty for this

agreed. and i dont use my phone in the dark. its hurting my eyes with the lights even at lowest brightness.

how do you guys back up your efs?


Added on February 7, 2012, 10:37 amalready unlocked the bootloader and rooted it with recovery installed
the only thing stopping me to flash the AOKP rom is the efs backup
have done the nandroid backup and stuff but not efs...
