QUOTE(megadisc @ Apr 23 2012, 05:41 PM) how many months did he get? was it a good deal ? his entire team got a standard 1 month salary for every year of service. problem was that he only worked there for less than a year. so he only got 1 month the most f*cked up part about the whole thing was the way he found out about the retrenchment - he turned up for work one day and his access card couldn't access the doors

QUOTE(omg528 @ Apr 24 2012, 07:12 AM) it is a IT sales post, the post required to travel but since i dun have car, they promised to provide me 450sgd for transportation allowance. Give you some figures then you decide for yourself whether worth it or not. Perodua Kenari 1.0 is $80,000. DBS 10-year loan @ 3.50% means you pay $900 a month on installment. Monthly parking at your HDB is $300, so that's already $1200 a month before factoring in ERP (toll), expensive petrol, insurance, maintenance, etc, can easily spend close to $2k/mth on your transport alone.

Not planning for any CC yet as I am a poorfag. Convenient enough and maybe slightly higher interest rate will be good XD...maybe 0.0x%/month? DBS/posb got the most ATM around town but also their ATM always got long queue one ha ha. singapore credit cards interest rate damn expensive one, should always pay every month in full. poorfag or richfag also good to have a couple cards for convenience + dining privileges. QUOTE(sylar111 @ May 2 2012, 02:46 PM) I mean so far what i can think of is that I was a former singapore PR who denouce my PR because of national service and that i was working here for 6 months before. But it was a very long time ago. Obviously none of us here will know the real reason, but at the moment this bolded part sort of quite 'hangat' right now - lots of PRC are doing it and lots of SG netizens are complaining about it in forums & stuff, saying these ppl only know how to drain SG resources then when time to serve NS they leave

But your (male) children must serve. If they dun want to serve they have to renounce PR then they will be same case like abang sylar here.
