Or it just a cover up that they don't have stock for this? I've been asked to take titanium silver colour which I'm not preferred to...

just got my car and i realized the radio reception not so good? there is this noticeable intermittent cut even in KL area, anyone experiencing this?

and 1 more issue is the reverse camera, the viewing angle of left side seems "lari" abit?

Never had this problem though. Though I have intermittent problem on reverse camera (every 20-30 times I go into R it'll happen once) the images won't appear on the screen. Can't even show it to the service center coz it happens so rarely.... 

Are you hitting 30k yet? I think you got your car earlier than me...

Bro, service every 10K, one year service 2~3 times, so mah fan only 2~3 times but the rest of the year happy with the additional performance from the filter. ;-)

Hi, yes, there is a significant improvement. When I drop it in & went for a drive, I was smiling all the way! It really makes a difference at low revs & when you want power, just step on it. Costs about RM2xx, you can buy it online at lowyat Automotive Garage from speedworksonline, very reliable seller. This mod is really worth it, no regrets at all...... well regret I didnt get it earlier when I got my car (1.6 SX) :-)

I was facing steering vibration problems when hitting speed of 100~110 km/h. Went to a few shops but they cannot rectify for me. If you drive it the same way before you put filter, mileage can increase but after you feel the power increase, then your right foot would want to press more so your mileage will decrease. Understand?

1. If you can afford it, get the 2.0. Sure no regrets. 

2. If you can only afford 1.6 (like me), put in a K&N filter then you won't feel regret as you can feel better power & no more sluggish feeling. Even better if you can downgrade to 16" rims. This way you can save 10K compared to buying 2.0 including savings on road tax, insurance & interest over the years of ownership.

3. Don't get POLO sedan if you can afford Forte 2.0. Sure its a VW but small & performance same as Forte 1.6. If you want POLO, get the hatch with TSI engine then can really feel the power.

Some question here.

Forte come with immobilized system, so does the installation of "locktech" help further to prevent car been stolen?
And can the car move without key inside?

Have you actually tried driving the car without the key inside the car?

In theory it should be that way. Too bad though. Would have preferred if the car can sense the remote out of the car and if out of range, the engine should shut down. Better security feature dont you think?

I found my headlight is foggy after did car wash at one of the car wash shop. They said this is very common for Forte. I duno is true or not. It disappear after one day. I am not sure it will come back after car wash or not...  Please advise.

Sure can..but yet to fully update the table..need info regarding 6-speed Forte servicing price also coz the current table only applicable for 4-speed Forte servicing price..once the table is complete & updated, i will post it here 

When you are cruising in 4th gear at a low rpm, the engine doesn't generate enough torque to pull your car up the slope.

As you depress the gas pedal further, if the slope is not too steep the engine can actually rev at a higher rpm and yet still remain in 4th gear. However if it's a very steep ascent, or if you completely floor the gas the gear box will automatically downshift to third. It will take a second or two for the gearbox to 'sense' your need for acceleration before it downshifts though, a common trait for most non-performance automatic cars.

I'm assuming that you are flooring it when you down shift hence the engine revs spike straight to 4K; although it could be due to the smaller 1.6L. My 2.0L rarely needs to go beyond 3.5K for accelerating unless I manually shift it into 2nd gear and floor it madly, which I occasionally do.
