Just bought the Original Set yesterday




Compare with Galaxy W which also bought yesterday

the Samsung Galaxy S Advance is really worth it for its pricetag and specs
wish it around RM1k though
but still no cover and official screen protector in Malaysia in stock yet

haha...nice bro...looking forward to get one today...currently seeking for rooting methods, to make sure we can fully utilise this phone early on..

so how was it ? everything fine ? Bettery life, gps locking and etc XD !!! and hopefully battery can last more thn 1 day under heavy usage lolz

what is the different with 2GB ROM and 8GB Storage in this phone?

i don't know about ROM though
currently using under stock settings
din't dare to root it just yet
beside the cover for the phone still haven't reach malaysia

because it have samoled,you can view it fine under lowest brightness settings
so the battery can last up to 16 hour of heavy duty for now
that is music though
not sure about gaming since i don't have time for that just yet

i view one at KB Mall.. it show that USB Storage is just 3.9GB, when i ask the seller, he said internal memory is 8GB.. i dont bother to argue..
the device memory is 2GB.. maybe this is the ROM..

the selling price is 1189 for SME unit and less 100 for AP..

let say 4gb for apps and another 4 gb for data/USB storage
4gb for apps are invisible...

This is correct. about 3GB-4GB will go MIA hidden somewhere...all Samsung phones like that. SGS2 only has about 11-12GB despite the specs says 16GB.

Added on April 30, 2012, 10:18 pmThe 2 part thing is an Android issue...the apps partition max 2GB only. On SGS2. 2GB for apps partition, 10GB or so for 2nd partition and 3GB went MIA...not really sure why. Maybe as internal temp space for the OS to use.

I think on Android 3.2 and above, all becomes one partition already. My Galaxy Tab 7.7 only has 1 partition (Honeycomb 3.2). ICS phones also single partition. Gingerbread and below all has this legacy issue.

wishing this set will have ICS ..... since it really capable to trun it... in addtion d S3 seem around d courner

haha..actually some people have asked for it...just that this phone is very new, doesn't even have their kernel source released by Samsung yet...Me myself have been working on it, but so far no luck...Keep getting stuck...
