haha...why not...if we are talking 18 months software support from Samsung, it could get ICS...hardware is good and capable...but the price is certainly attractive, can go even below RM1200...

now locally available...check ur prices here, here, and here...

haha..actually some people have asked for it...just that this phone is very new, doesn't even have their kernel source released by Samsung yet...Me myself have been working on it, but so far no luck...Keep getting stuck...

well, the battery life is quite good...i managed to get about 36 hours with a single charge, with moderate usage of internet, 3g always on, gmail sync always on, and some gaming...we might be close to rooting it as well, if someone's willing to be the 'sacrifice goat'...hahahahaha...

Haha.. That was a few days ago.. Never thought on taking screenshots, so have no proof whatsoever.. But maybe that was my lucky day.. But yesterday i survived until this morning with about 60% battery.. So i figured that this phone's, or maybe my phone's battery was good even though rated at 1500maH..

well, then this phone is a good phone, new and yet got no problems...hahaha...

yeah...after u point out that, now i notice we dont have zoom features...but we still have touch focus...

hahaha...well, if u are using smartphone, u should expect to charge ur phone everyday with heavy usage...

yup...confirmed...zoom not working on other camera apps as well, at any resolution...

anyway, if there is any local malaysian devs, we really need root...hahaha... currently stuck... noobs are always noobs without proper guides...

The camera is the only letdown of this phone.. No zoom, video also no zoom, but the GPS are great.. Locking in less than 15 seconds..

hahaha...maybe...if we can get root, then straightaway official forum...but for now, root seems impossible...so many obstacles...being a noob at Android Development doesn't help...

I don't think so... I have tried taking videos before, but did not notice any autofocus running during video capture...

ok guys... tonight is the night... in few hours' time, I will post the root method for this phone...
