about upfront,not so sure,but any contract plan need pay upfront,end up time u get the device from telco not much diff than buy off at outside phone shop.

Strong contender to Galaxy S Advance is Sony Xperia U, RM899.

well for me not a big deal ==... Xperial u only have 4gb memory and cant expandable through micro sd, 2nd Battery capacity is way bigger thn Xp U, 3rd Ram capacity is bigger also ( dont forget ICS use more ram space thn GingerBread ), other thn tht Xp U win in ICS ... i cant c how it's a Strong contender to galaxy S advance unless the design i quite like it though ~

i dont think malaysian version got NFC...

yup...confirmed...zoom not working on other camera apps as well, at any resolution...

anyway, if there is any local malaysian devs, we really need root...hahaha... currently stuck... noobs are always noobs without proper guides...

just survey at maxis..
they give 8gb set only..
i tot can get 16gb version like celcom set..

what about autofocus ? camera autofocus when taking a shoot on a close distance ?
About video too , does it auto focus on a close shoot ? I know galaxy S does but does this advance do the same ?
