QUOTE(ogiveyakuza @ Feb 4 2012, 10:37 AM) aiya... come to think of it, the black blotches arent so visible unless u are already in the dark room in maybe 10-40 mins, then ur eyes would get used to the low light condition and see the differences especially the blotches like the link i posted earlier regarding the motorola razr in xda forum, that user used a camera with a long exposure to the phone then it will be visible...g-nexus also has a chance of getting those blotches on their screens too but still preferred g-note than g-nexus thats only has the name of ICS in it when watch video with several color on them, dont think that blotches are clearly seen, i havent tried the s-pen experience video yet cos i dont have any, any links to that particular video? prefer the original one if someone could upload oh yea... here is some cheap g-note http://www.geeky-gadgets.com/samsung-galax...eel-15-01-2012/ This post has been edited by sarf2k4: Feb 4 2012, 11:06 AM |

QUOTE(ogiveyakuza @ Feb 3 2012, 09:47 PM) 1-10% i think is normal, but 30-40% there must be something wrong...make sure no apps running on the background...setting>>application>>>running apps.... mine depending on usage (screen on) the highest battery consumer is either Android OS or Display 30-40% each either/or...if low usage, the Android OS will be the highest consumer. is this not normal? if not mistaken, my wife's S2 also the same. QUOTE(Fallenangelz @ Feb 4 2012, 11:05 AM) u guys like vultures waiting for me to change phone and get my used phone cheap. u know mengsuan's s2 was mine. sold to him 1k. regret. now i need da extra dough to buy accessories for my note. lol and no no plans to change note. i love the sytlus and the super battery life and large screen. very happy with it in every way so far.also more on topic, i've bought the tridea case that someone showcased here before. http://www.maker4u.com/tridea-galaxy-note-...ialy-style.html I bought the black leathery looking one. my review i didnt buy the sexy brown cloth purely because i was afraid of two things. 1 its cloth therefore impossible to clean once its stained or dirty. and 2, from my experience, cloth dont last long. They tend to unravel or peel off especially when put into the pocket. maybe if you're a lady and u had a handbag.... anyway design : 9/10 It actually makes the note thicker, longer and wider but it definitely gives it ample protection. It also makes the galaxy note a real NOTE, as in when you hold it it feels like a premium electronic smallish diary. awesome. love it. But u shud note that there is no leather here, even that colour black that sorta looks like leather, it is NOT leather. feels rubbery a lil. quality : 7/10 am a bit disappointed iwth the quality. its perfect in every way except that at the back, where u see that textured brown/black/wahetever against the bumper, its actually glued /stuck on to the case. and its not a 100% perfect fit and its a wee bit smaller. as a result some dust can get in and stick there and looks a bit ugly at those areas. otherwise, extremely happy with the case. wished they used real leather considering it costs RM 130 (when i got the item and found out it wasnt leather was a real shocker for me) verdict : there arent many nice cases around that are flip type like a book with no buckles and magnets (dont use any magnets guys it';ll screw around with your galaxy note screen). As there isnt any else, id definitely recommend this case. There are areas for improvements but the design is just so hard to beat. |

Our screen actually is in itself a bit magenetic thats how our pen works. Putting another magnet near it (doesnt have to touch, magenetic field is there is enuf) can reorient the magnet if prolonged exposure. Also our screen's magnet (and in this case your pouch's magnet) can actually spoil your credit card lol cuz that black stripe in your CC can be spoilt by magnet

hi guys,
i've been an iphone user for the past few years and jumping over to android, gnote was my first android phone and i'm totally new to android scene. after having the gnote for almost 3 weeks, i've always wanted to root it. here's the stock rom version that running on my gnote 2.3.6: PDA: N7000DXLA1 PHONE: N7000DXKL2 CSC: N7000OLBKL2 I've read Benny's blog that in order to 2.3.6, I have to downgrade the rom back 2.3.5, root it then only upgrade it 2.3.6 with a rooted kernel in order to maintain the root. My question is, shall there be any failures during the process of downgrading, rooting or upgrading, is there anyway like iphone where we can just enter DFU mode and easily restore back to original firmware? Is there a way like this in Android phone? |
