Your backup will be found in the folder clockworkmod/backup in the internal sd or external sdcard depend on whether you choose backup from cwm app which you have choice to choose. If done thro hard button recovery mode it will default to ext sdcard

It is a fact the g nexus is smoother than the g note probably due to ics. Nothing to do with root or not rooted as this does not contribute to performance unless you mod the phone with tweaks and kernel changes

Flash directly from cwm will do

Isnt my answer clear. Need to draw out all the skeleton of the fish? No need just flash directly with cwm

My opinion
Close to stock : substancer LA4 w abyss 3.6 kernel
With plenty tweaks : rocket v21 w abtss 3.6 kernel
Light clean rom without most of samsung stuff: cassie LA4

Now on ldroid LA6 still observing performance

I have given up testing on LA6 :
King Droid - laggy UI ?
LDroid n Cassie : Both Market I cannot purchased apps - my credit cards disabled , cannot be selected. Retested with a fresh factory reset - similar problem

So now back on Substancer LA4, my favorite

Go to settings/applications/manage applications - browse to setcpu : select clear data , uninstall setcpu if you want
Reset phone and it will default back to standard voltages

Setting is pop.streamyx.com n smtp is roam.streamyx.com
User xxxx@ streamyx.com
Other just set as default

Restore your backup before you change the voltage. You nean you now still cannot change the voltage settings?

Sorry no idea. I never faced any serious wifi issues in all my androids phones or tablets since the first nexus one. So never have to trouble shoot this. The wifi fixer was mentioned in one of the thread and i did test it out at one of the mcdonald outlet as it fix my internet access then

WTF did you moved your backup to pc for? you are supposed to keep the backup in your phone so that you can restored it when you need it. So now copy back the backup to the external sdcard in the folder clockworkmod/backup. Create these folders in ext sdcard if you did not have such
Boot phone to recovery mode and select restore. The phone will look for the backup n select your backup copy to restore

You can download his zip file containing all the deleted apps. Unzip the file look for it under system folder. Locate it n copy it to /system/app in phone usung root explorer. Reset phone
Or if you have a copy of titanium backup made select from the tab backup/restore scroll down right to bottom of list the app ( it will be strikeout) tap n select restore

You will regret only if what you NEED is not in the phone or it does not perform to your expectation
So study the phone specs, features and see whether it has those stuffs that meet your NEEDS not your wants. there is no perfect smartphone including even iphone 4s that can meet everyone needs fully
Read at least two threads of this forum and view other users experiences, their problems, the happiness etc and you will have a general idea about the phone performance and features. At least read page 1 the links to the various web reviews
Example , I read of users who immediately complained why the Note doesn't have LED notifications and they are unhappy over it - goes to show they never study the phone features before buying ??

As for me, I must say this is the best android smartphone I have purchased follow by the G Nexus n SGS II. It meets practically all my needs not 100 % and as I always said as long as it meets 80 % of my needs , it is good enough. Infact it meet more than 90 % of my needs

Nothing special. Quite similar in performance to his LA4. It comes with FM kernel. Has some fc when i install ontop of cassie LA6 which i never faced in previous rom installs ontop of other rom. Anyway i decided to wipe phone n reinstall it. Just has been on it only 3 hours. Will be monitoring battery usage.

Mine also on digi postpaid.Never need even to set apn. Can sent n recieve mms very well
