No doubt the NVH is good, but the car's handling sucks to the max, floaty and bumpy as well  doh.gif

Aiya, that would be personal preference lor.

I experienced a few cars also with all the symptoms you mentioned. But TS only asking about Latio ma... smile.gif

Anyway, other than what I have mentioned. The only lousy thing about Latio is, it is kind of ugly and not sporty look enough to be called a Sports Sedan.
laugh.gif ... if compare to my previous Ford Mondeo with 18" VIP rims. biggrin.gif
...Latio owners, please don't flame me for this.

I own a Latio too, simply because of the spacious cabin, MT and it is a sedan. NVH comes after I own the car, and also an incident that I am embarrassed of.

Err... why you sound like my customer who owns a Fiesta?

Hahaha... I only sit in Fiesta twice, but not for long period, so cannot really comment on Fiesta. Further more, those Fiestas are new. But if you ask me Honda, then I can share my experience/comments.    laugh.gif

But Latio NVH, is agreed by a lot of ppl. That includes owners, owner's friends, serviceman and some others.

Nope, I doesn't own a Fiesta. Since many people said Fiesta was the best B segment hatchback in our country, I'm wondering whether the NVH of Latio is better than Fiesta or not.

even if the NVH is worst than Latio, it'll beat the Latio in everything else by miles.

How can a car be floaty and bumpy? Thought bumpy means you feel every single stone on the road?

I can only advice that you test drive yourself and judge it yourself.

I didn't know Fiesta is B-segment, really small ler the car.

one word for this car..... it look small outside but darn big inside.

I am 185cm tall and when i sit in the rear passenger seat... i was surprise with the amount of space for my leg to move inside..... it pawn all the other cars in the same segment for the spacious inside. Very comfortable car.

Which is why I had already pre-excluded the Fiesta and suggested the 308VTi instead.

The 308 VTi is in the same size and price bracket, but much better features.

Added on January 27, 2012, 8:09 pmNote, my comment is based on the assumption that resale value issue is excluded (hatches are not very sought after anyhow so if this was a big deal, you should have been looking for a sedan).

If it is an important deciding factor, then the Latio is the best hatch at that price range.

Ya no regrets cos why? Cos I drive one too! haha

And yes, even after 2 years now, sometimes when I drive at 160kph I thought that I was only doing 110kph if my passengers dont remind me of the speed... can imagine the times when there were no passengers huh? Next thing either Dr reminds me or God --- or the Devil

Woahhh.. so much comments! Thx guys! Based on everyone.. can conclude that Latio hatchback wins by space and speed.. lose by design and stability.. hmm.. what about peugeot 308 turbo guys? someone here suggested it and it looks interesting! =D

but i've uncles telling me that peugeot cars are problematic when servicing happens.. big hassle when parts are faulty.. no resale value.. opinions?

Latio and 308turbo have almost a 20k gab woh. Sure 308 is way better in terms of speed since it is a turbo version u are talking about there.

Read from the owner forum 308 seem like got issue on the engine. Some owner claim the sc need to change few critical part from the engine and it cost a bomb but lucky is under warranty. Not sure the normal one got issue or only the turbo version

Peugeot consider conti car, conti car parts are never cheap if you must compare to japs car. But conti car driving experience is always better than jap car, generally.

Anyway, regarding resale value... Used car dealer told me Nissan no value also, if compare to Honda and Toyota.
