this is their last warehouse sales there, as they will move to other place after this.

btw, you can try to go any foto miami outlet to nego the price since they did sell at this price.

any cheap adapter out there for nex5n to use other cheaper lens?? sony lens is killing me with his sky rocking price man!!!
*
I have Konica Hexanon 50mm F1.7, F1.4, 40mm F1.8, and others ..
Those are much sharper classic prime lenses compare to most of the modern lens except Leica/Zeiss...
I'm going towards Leica-M mount lenses, so have to let go my Hexanon collections. doh.gif
do you interested? tongue.gif

Thanks everyone for the long replies!

My priority... I guess I really want to just take interesting pictures when I go out, so mainly landscape/scenery, candid portraits yes, and interesting objects that catch my eyes. So, I guess Sony is the way to go. But still not sure if I should get twin lens. One more question from a camera noob here, do people actually go out with just the 16mm pancake without zoom lens? (for normal everyday shots)
*
I think composition and quick snap is more important for you. so SEL1855 will be quite handy in this case since it provide from wide angle to portrait focal length!
16mm is suitable for landscape, highly not recommended for portrait as it will make the face wider in close distance! girls will curse u for this!! sweat.gif
It is perfect cheaper way to use the 16mm with Fisheye and UWA adapter and have some fun!!! nod.gif

For me, now i mainly using the Voigtlander 28/2.0 and SEL30F35 as i found 28mm/30mm is very close to our eyes view angle without much crop!
not much chance of using the 16mm yet.

now i need only a long zoom 300mm/400mm for moon/star shooting and sport/wild life! still looking for a good cheap old lens!:hmm:

Now I mostly use Voigtlander Leica-M mount 28mm F2.0, backup by the SEL30F35 for macro shots.
Quite like the Voigtlander 28F2.0, compact size, sharp image! i found 28mm-30mm is about our human eye view angle.
Now most of my other classic prime lenses are sitting in Dry cabinet because can't beat its compact size. Considering put them in WTS later....

Got any photo sample to share? and how the lens look on nex with adapter. suddenly im opened to mountain of lens choices.. until dont know where to start looking at. The only thing can limit the choices is the budget. tongue.gif

This is how it look like when Voigtlander 28mm F2.0 put on the NEX-5N! Better fit than the original emount leh?? wink.gif
Refer to my previous post:

QUOTE(RX-78-2 @ Apr 10 2012, 01:21 AM)
actually for past year of search online, i found that Konica Hexanon is the best price/performance lens.
the lens are very sharp especially 50/1.7, where 50/1.4 have better bokeh. 57/1.4 slightly less sharp than 1.7 and 1.4 but the old lens colour rendition and bokeh is very nice.
those older Hexanon '70 and before have some kind of characteristic while maintain some high quality close towards Zeiss and even Leica.
Konica produced nice Hexanon lenses with highest quality at that era, with their own optical formula.
however, the hexanon are not that popular like Nikon and Canon, as their lens have shallower registered length than those lenses. So only a few camera can fit the AR mount, end up only Konica camera users.  doh.gif
Of course they have higher range for Leica rangefinder, the ultimate M-Hexanon range!!! drool.gif
But now with Sony NEX and MFT camera, now we can enjoy this cheap but good quality lenses!!! rclxms.gif
If you live in US, you might get it at very cheap price depends on your luck!!!
Here we have limited source for Hexanon, and the US shipping is really not pocket friendly!! rclxub.gif
My advise for ebay bidder, you must avoid shipping with USPS First Class mail at all!! it is just normal airmail without tracking number and not registered. you end up missing in the hand of local post office!!! mad.gif
Priority mail is better and Express mail is the best for tracking, and both will be handled here by poslaju EMS.

now the reason i want to let go most of my Hexanon not because it is not good, but I prefer to have my NEX in more compact size. Hence I go for Leica M mount lens which is the lens is very compact as well as thin adapter,  and it seems they fit the NEX body better than the SEL lenses! thumbup.gif
I still couldn't afford the Leica M lenses which more than RM3k. So first I got the Voigtlander 28mm F2.0 which have very good review from http://www.kenrockwell.com/voigtlander/28mm-f2.htm!

Well said, LWliam!
Better focus on learning how to take a better photo with the gears in hand.
Skills does matter!
I'm still early stage in learning photo shooting, the more I shoot, the more i need to learn!

btw, i'm the one mostly not editing my photo. too lazy to learn photoshop.
i only shoot jpg, and use the crop and resize only when needed.
Try to train myself to shoot like using film camera, avoid PP.

When I said touch up, I'm just refering to curves and levels, satyration, slight cropping (actual crop is best done in camera), and if needed vignette correction. And oh, pimple removal from bride's face. No need to the extent of add a missing person to the pic for example. But u get my idea right? Think of it as garnishing on a plate. It complements the image rather than overpowering it. Presentation matters.

Added on August 14, 2012, 12:26 pmOh btw rx782, film shooters edit too. There's burning and dodging in the darkroom. There are levels adjustments too, but a more labor intensive way with chemicals and stopwatch.
*
Agreed.
Especially for business purpose, sure you need to give the best outcome for your customers like wedding and product shots.

I'm lazy person, so will try to get the results I want with minimum mod. just my liking! tongue.gif
Still a lot for me to learn especially on composition. sweat.gif

huh huh!!! Got my iso hotshoe converter!
Tested my Yongnuo YN468 and it fired correctly upto 1/250s!!
But not advisable to mount the big flashgun directly because the weight!

Previously was using the optical trigger but it not workable for outdoor and it must be within line of sight.
So getting the wireless trigger then my off camera flash is finally done!

Is Aputure Trigmaster good? or should I go for Yongnuo YN603?

i got the iso hotshoe adapter from ebay.
it works perfectly with my YN468 flash, up to 1/250s!!!
but it stated not for mounting the big flash directly due to the weight will damage the connection.
I am going to get the Aputure Trigmaster this week and test the off camera flash!! Will need to sell the YN468 to canon guys and get the latest YN560EX!

With this I will satisfied with 5N at this moment. 5R will not for me. I will keep the 5N for at least 1-2years. 6 is the best choice but I can wait at this moment.
