Hmnn since Canon FD lens is an AF lens, how you control the aperture blades? If I'm not mistaken, there is no aperture ring?
Added on March 30, 2012, 7:34 amOpsss.. after googling, FD = Manual soli haha This post has been edited by stimix: Mar 30 2012, 07:34 AM |

SO long you have the Nikon to NEX adaptor for sure can but as far as I know must be the ancient manual focus lens...
Interestingly..I'm wondering any auto focus lens other than Sony able to be coupled wth NEX? and if yes, how to control the aperture haha |

Good comparison shots there.. Since its' hv been resized, can't really compare the sharpness between 18-55 and this 50-F1.8 lenses.. Wondering this 50-F1.8 focused zone not as sharp/focused as 18-55?
Reason being.. my minolta 50-F1.4 MF although I loved the bokegness but the ceter focusing point abit soft & not as sharp as the kit lens |

You really need to be in a place without light pollution with surrounding dark area to get this. Best place in an open clearing on a clear day and this open clearing must be surrounded with jungle without any surrounding township around

QUOTE(our_team89 @ Apr 7 2012, 02:25 PM) guys, still new in nex series..if i want to take macro picture, should i get 16mm pancake or just by using 18-55 is enuf? If wanna to be good, get a proper macro lens like the 30MM F3.5 http://store.sony.com/webapp/wcs/stores/se...Number=SEL30M35If want budget way, use the 18-55 zoom to the longest and coupled wth a Raynox macro filter. Or even cheaper using the +10 macro filter but quality suffered. If wanna budget lens too get an ancient manual macro lens but you need an adapter |

QUOTE(jimmyyap03 @ Apr 8 2012, 10:16 PM) Dunno lor..Never try this b4..but that's a zoom lens and not portrait lens that i used. The effect of background bokeh might not be so good compare to portrait lenses.Added on April 9, 2012, 9:23 pm QUOTE(toughnut @ Apr 8 2012, 10:18 PM) stimix, ever use MF lens for street shooting? is it feasible? planning to get some really compact RF lens I tried but you need a steady and non moveable items rather than human bcos manual focus lens is super slow..by the time you get the focus, your moving object already 0.1km away haha.Added on April 9, 2012, 9:30 pm QUOTE(lovelyhelp @ Apr 9 2012, 02:29 PM) My lens mentioned earlier. Added on April 9, 2012, 9:35 pm QUOTE(RX-78-2 @ Apr 9 2012, 07:15 PM) just thinking to sell.. if price ok. indeed it is great lens, compare to other 50mm. It is my prime lens also, 90% time on the camera. Wah...Funding for Nortilux 50mm F0.95? And I just sold my SEL18200 to fund for the NEX-5ND!! But soon i going to sell all other classic lens together with the classic film camera to fund for Leica M mount lenses!!! This post has been edited by stimix: Apr 9 2012, 10:11 PM |
