then drive to Honda service center and replace it...claim warranty..lucky 2 year warranty for 12V battery
p/s - battery dead on my car 1 year + 1 day old

Hey Ryan,
wasn't browsing this for some time until I came across this yesterday, you mentioned your insurance co. came & jumpstart your car?
I have the same problem, i.e. dead main 12v source, car wouldn't start, even had to open the door manually as the alarm is not functioning.
Called Honda help line (HHL), request if they could send someone over to jump start, HHL says do not attempt to jump start due to Insight complicated electrical stuff, afraid it might fry some of the CB. Hence HHL have arranged to tow my car to SC in-order to start my car correctly.
Hmmm....I wonder if next time similiar dead main 12v incident to happen again, which is the correct procedure? ok to jumstart or not?
