QUOTE(watonk @ Feb 16 2012, 03:01 AM) Point no 6 well taken. could you post a photo of this? a picture says a thousand words.Anyway got a new discovery today. All the above points was carefully studied today and i found that everything quite flush and well fit (except point 6 that u just brought up). Compared to my other car with much inconsistent gaps and fitting, there's no way point 1 to 5 contribute to the whistling sound. And I notice the whistle only happens when the speed is 100km/h WITHOUT ANY CAR IN FRONT OF ME. This further convinced me on the conclusion about the whistling sound came from the front top area of the car. Out of nowhere, i got this crazy idea of releasing the bonnet (but still hooked) and drive it to 100km/h. Conclusion, NO SOUND. After much observation, i notice there is a gap between bonnet and plastic paneling at the bottom part of windscreen. The rubber lining between that plastic panel and bonnet is flush but slightly sink, making a nice gap for wind to spoilt and whistle at certain velocity going through them. When i release the bonnet, the gap was disturb. Later I tried to cover them with tape and walla.... 100% no whistling sound. I will look for a proper rubber lining or flaps to beef it up and took some picture so u can understand / pin point the location. Now back to silent driving *any Aerodynamic Eng post available @ Honda Japan? |

Hey bros - just wanna ask would it hurt a newly bought insight if we drive the car up on high way and to genting? (would it stress the engine too much to have a long term deteriorating effect on the engine?
Could a new car handle this ? I know last time.. some guys said new car better don't stress it until after the first service? |

It is OK going up genting... new car with nano coating can take it... the engine is already pre-run during production thats why Honda did not change oil during 1st 1000KM... hahaha drive like normal car will do... no special care needed...

Going to change my tyres to Continental CC5, RM248 each.
The stock bridgestone turanza ER370 has just clocked 19000kms and still got plenty of threads life left, anyone interested? |

Hi, I'm had an accident on 24/1/2011 at PLUS highway. I do claim insurance because 1 sport rim broken and 2 tyres out. I left my tyre at Ipoh and I need that tyre to do claim. Very difficult to get Dunlop 185/55/16. Anybody already change ur tyre to other size, please sell/give me that tyre.
