Tethering?
You mean u use your tab 3g connection, n let your phone share its internet connection via wifi, and bluetooth right.

But why not just use your tab to online ?
Won't it be more comfortable than phone?
Tab screen and battery much better.

Curious, is there some special reason?
*
Reason being, some messenger is on the phone which requires data network.

Surfing of course it's nicer on Tab, and my Google Reader's feeds also. smile.gif

Seems like BT tethering not working as well. sad.gif

Another thing, Chrome detect this ROM as non ICS. So it can't run. Arrrgghh....

Chrome is working fine. Dot update to the latest version.
Google block cm9 and don't recognize it as ics during latest update.

Anyway, chrome is over hype.
The interface is much better than stock ics ONLY on phones.

On tabs, the stock ics and chrome has the same UI.
On tab, chrome is so slow, it load page equally fast, but scrolling is soooooooo laggy.
Apart from that, it occupies more screen real estate. And no flash.

Totally lose to stock ics browser. So you are not missing anything. Don't worry.

Most review about how great chrome is is from galaxy nexus.
Again on tab interface, it lose to stock one.

I understand your disappointment, but I buy in to their 1 feature, which is sync to PC chrome on opened tabs. I loved this feature and wished they are 2-ways. Meaning I could send my tabs back to PC from phone.

Just found out the Chrome on my SGS CM9 also failed to work. All auto-updated. doh.gif

Mine sharing the APK? blush.gif

lol...the first thing i tried is that syncing tab feature.
seriously....not practical at all. its not as fast as you imagine.
open a page on your laptop.

then open your tab and wait for it to sync, take minutes.
might as well just bookmark it, and let it synch to stock ics browser bookmark.

anyway...if you insist, i'll share the apk.
the only method i know is use astro file manager make a backup apk. i'll do that now, hang on a sec.
hope it will work though, i read in xda it says once update, cant go back to old version.

notworthy.gif Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I know it's slow to sync, but I might not need it immediately. I would look at it this way, I was viewing something on the browser, and suddenly someone called to go yamchar. So while travelling out, it has the time to sync. I think the sync doesn't take more than 5 minutes to refresh?

Aside from that, I wouldn't want to further bogged my browser with bookmarks. There are way too many bookmarks already even on the Bookmark bar (bad practice, I know doh.gif ). Too lazy to book keeping. blush.gif

It could be the size was too big. sad.gif

It's ok then, I'll just stick with current browser first while wait for Chrome to fix the compatibilities with CM9 issue.

Thanks a lot mate! smile.gif

EDIT: MTP mode doesn't work on CM9 KANG? doh.gif

Thanks!

Not enabled by default. blush.gif

Dunno what is KANG doing.

Added on February 27, 2012, 8:55 amI just realised that the Chrome's opened tabs sync is not just opening the URL. It synchronised the tab's history as well! This is soooooooo cool!

Can't wait for the final release to fully replace the Android browser. Hopefully it will have full screen mode. smile.gif

Both the stock ics browser and chrome will force close sometimes when too heavy usage.
but the good thing about stock is that it will remember opened pages and reload them

not sure the chrome has this feature or not.
you manage to get chrome working already?

That's the best feature ICS Android browser brought to us, similar to Safari on iOS. blush.gif

Chrome does re-opens the last page, but more like reloading from the cache, but it loads awfully slow like loading live contents from Internet. I know for sure it was cache because Lowyat pages requires refresh in order to get the latest updates. Not sure if it would reopens after restarting the device though, have yet to try.

EDIT: last opened page remained after restarted phone. But only tested 1 opened page. Now go knock yourself out trying 10-20 tabs. laugh.gif

Anyone know if the Atmel Maxstylus will be compatible with the Tab 10.1 or is it slated for the new Galaxy Tab 2 10.1?

http://ir.atmel.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=584398

I've been anxious about this stylus since I heard about it last year. Anyone know if its out in the market already? Price?

been using supernote for quite some time.. good app for long note taking.. just make sure when u write the words, are in consistent size. otherwise yr sentence will look awkward especially with the long tails of j, y, p and q.

Let me try out GMusic and come back to you later.

Usually I had the app run on full screen if I wanna listen to it.

EDIT: tested, press pause, the GMusic icon still there and still in the notification area. Did you install any app killer of sort?
