Let me try out GMusic and come back to you later.

Usually I had the app run on full screen if I wanna listen to it.

EDIT: tested, press pause, the GMusic icon still there and still in the notification area. Did you install any app killer of sort?
*
No, kill apps I normally use the switchpro widget or task manager.. But I never use them when pressing pause. It seems that it takes time for this to happen, always I have to reinstall g Music and it will be fine for a while only the problem will start to show. Technically it doesn't kill the app because when i click on pause and the notification dissappears the progress also paused and not stopped.

Funny, I dont recall my GMusic ever behaves such way. It stays even after I paused it.

Only after a while of inactivity, Android might terminate it to clear up some resources. Is your GMusic latest version?

just confirmed that the USB OTG works well with normal card reader.
if want read from memory card, plug it into any random card reader, and then plug the card reader to the USB OTG, it works just the same.

if you guys looking for USB OTG cable for tab,
recomend buy the normal cheap basic one. about rm20.
http://202.76.227.241/images/56/5698946695.jpg
by the way, the price of this OTG cable really varies alot.
in some places, sell RM50-60. i got mine in pc fair for RM20.

dont have to buy the >RM80 that suppose include card reader.
or the original samsung OTG adapter.
http://img1.buyincoins.com/gallery/samsung...d-reader-02.jpg

this is because the rm20 one works the same.

This is also available at Novacell and the price is about RM68, which I think is a bit pricey for a 3rd party connector. So your deal is pretty good!

Good news, hacked Chrome to allow it to run on non-stock ICS. Tested running and sync working.

Saw the PocketNow hands-on preview of the SGNote 10.1. The tablet's response is really doh.gif . ICS 4.0.3 some more!

Samsung should not spent all their programmers resources on pushing out initial ROMs for their new devices, rather focus more on our firmware upgrades. mad.gif

i checked out the video and compared with other demo videos of GNote 10.1..

pocketnow is a bit bias when u actually listen to what he said, and his product knowledge for tab is not good enough.

other videos show very smooth and responsive screens.

Then it just happens their unit is too clogged up with stuff. I am sure they don't specifically choose the most laggy 1 for preview, right? laugh.gif

last time i browse through tab 10.1 at various shop,
also notice its so laggy. that time i think is android 3.1 with touch widz.
scrolling home screen is laggy due to all the widgets. (full of them at every page)
and a ton of apps running at the background.

average users dont really know how to use android, they just press home to exit an app.
causing the display unit to be laggy.

one nice example,
i borrowed my sgs2 to my cousin to play game,
1 hour later got it back. check task manager,
19 games running. he must've assume its an iphone, press home to exit.

good thing for me touch widz task manager has an 'exit all' button.
