Acer iconia A510, using tegra3, same spects as transformer prime,
on sale for RM1399 only.

i'm not interested in acer, this tab still use non IPS LCD, pale and ugly like the current iconia tab.

the great news is this lausy tab is 450USD, its sold here for RM1399,
so the Transformer Pad 300, the awesome tablet of my dreams will be <RM1399, hopefully RM1250. definately affortable! woohoooo

transformer pad is similar to transformer prime, just it use mainly plastic instead of alluminium. no more wifi gps issue.

i use aokp build for P7510, wifi only model
this aokp build made by a guy called serramemphis in xda.
its always in the first page of tab10 android development page.

i started using since feb8 build.
constantly upgrade till the latest build. march 4 is the latest build i think

i duno why they keep making new build,
seems same only, no noticable improvement or new features.

the aokp one should be the same only, new builds same as old build, no need keep upgrade if you're happy.

Transformer prime in us is 650 with dock. But here select for 2.2k. I think cheapest for Pad will be 1399.

seems pad300 is not as good as i think it is.
its so laggy compared to ipad.

really want to support android, but like he said, in tablet market, iOS is better.
but i cant accept the ridiculous limitations of iOS

final choice still android, but not this pad300 anymore, tegra3....haiz.

have to stick to tab10.1 longer until better quad cores appear.

next gen galaxy tab with exynos 5..

You mean viber right ? you are using wifi only , i wonder whether it works since it need a sim card for it .

About the iPad questions -Yes, you can use it with a SIM card, as you would register with a normal iPhone.

HOWEVER, you can also use Viber on an iPad without a SIM card (or for that matter, also on iPod-Touch!). This is how you do it:

1. connect to WiFi from your iPad/iPod. 2. download and install Viber app. when asked for your number, enter your regular cellphone's number, then confirm. 3. an SMS message with the code will be sent to your regular cellular phone. 4. take that code and use it in your iPad/iPod. Viber will then be activated, and you're good to go.

* this means that if anyone dials your number on Viber, you will get the call on your iPad/iPod.

I wonder if you gus notice how difficult it is to play video on the stock web browser. Watching imbedded videos on websites are very slow  . But when i use opera, it makes the experience much better. Faster loading and not so slow...comparable to using a laptop. Anybody know why theres a difference? Prffered web browser anyone?

I havent rooted my device, but does it make a difference?

my experience is the exact opposite,
opera is unusable at all on tab, its scrolling is way too jerky.
i only keep it because it can download all file types.

i use stock browser, and it plays embedded videos fine.
obviously not as smooth as laptop, but in an acceptable range.

do you seriously use this 10 inch tab as GPS?
its too big and block the driver's view.
not practical at all.

why not ? as long as it works , bigger screen is better , HD can view more building+roads
