QUOTE(coolstore @ Feb 1 2012, 06:37 PM) YES is going to launch new plan... wait for that if no hurry. according to their promoters, it is postpaid plan, reduced speed after reaching quota (current plans are based on prepaid & no internet access after quota finished), if that work like current 3G plan, sure many 3g users migrate ... i too waiting for more detailed info, if turn out really same as how existing 3g plan works , cut 3g line ... Really? Where did you hear that from?

the CEO already speak some words in the newspaper,
their promoters confirmed got new plan ahead, just wait would be it really 'surprise' us by launching a 3g plan alike unlimited but speed reduced after quota, then many will be tempted to switch from 3g to yes...

No coverage = no connection, simple as that. They do not update their coverage map everyday so the sales assistant might not give you a good answer.

Hey Guys... just to share some info... I'm a new user of YES 4G for 1 months plus... last month I reloaded VP68... after expired, I reloaded VP68 again 2 days ago... BUT my previous balance were forfeited... The reason given by YES customer service assistant was "you need to reload before the expiry date"... I am very disappointed with the reason given... 1) YES should give customer notification before the expiry date 2) I really have no idea about this regulation as I'm a new user 3) Should not forfeit user's balance... OR at least give some reasonable time (like 1 week) for user to reload... For new user, please take note... Thanks...

My advice for you is ALWAYS check your account. BTW for the coverage issue all you need to do is to check 1st by yourself (borrow anybody's huddle or go and try).

regarding expiry date, do we have to reload the value pack before that date, or is that date the last date you can reload before the pack expires? I'm a bit confused and alwAys have to juggle this date so that it falls after my payday. This month my payday falls exactly on the expiry date.
Can anyone clarify? Thanks in advance

I always use to play dota on GG and its really cheap. RM30 per month should be enough. Browser type game may use more data. This post has been edited by amxpayne67: Feb 22 2012, 09:49 AM

So If I want to start with YES I pay a one time RM50 for the simcard?
Then RM30 per month minimal to use it.
I can call for 9 Sen/minute and use fast internet for 3 Sen/mb.
If I reach 2.5gb I am screwed. What do I pay for each extra mb after the 2.5gb?
Is the coverage good in KL? I just switched from Maxis (great coverage) to TuneTalk (sheit coverage)....so now YES? I live near Mid Valley (where TuneTalk is crap).

It's actually pretty simple. Just buy let say RM70 YES credit, then use that to buy VP68 for 3.5GB. But always remember to check to data volume balance. When the quota finish, you still can surf the internet but it runs on your YES credit balance. That's when you're going to top-up credit.

You can signup super postpaid plan without a contract 4. Can I sign-up for a Super Postpaid plan without a contract? ...... Yes you can. But you would need to have a Yes device to access Yes 4G network. Click here to find out more about Yes devices.. www.yes.my/v3/support/faq/postpaid-general.do Contrat or not is not important for me, as i concern about is after the month quata, the speed will maintain to how much speed?
