U don't need Android 1.0 to pop up.. just check under ur device manager in ur PC and make sure u find" android phone" in the installed list without any error...

Been finding ways on how to register warranty for Nexus bought from DiGi, finally got my answer here lol..

email from samsung

Please be informed that for this matter, you may register for E-Warranty by sending the purchase receipt and your particulars to the E-warranty Team at ewarranty.sme@samsung.com for further assistance. The warranty term commences from the date of purchase. The purchase receipt must be retained for warranty claim purposes.

Download stock rom from google website here
Make sure you download 4.0.2 (ICL53F).
Put the .tgz file in this folder (put_google_factory_image_here) inside the gnex toolkit folder.
Run toolkit and follow option no 8.
Make sure you backup everything as it will wipe out all data.

1. First unlock bootloader, root it and installed CWM recovery : installed GNEX toolkit
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1392310
2. Download stock rom 4.0.2 from this link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1398800
3. Boot into recovery mode and backup your current rom
4. Copy the extracted folder 2011-12-18.16.07.08 into clockworkmod/backup in phone
5. Switch off phone, boot into recovery select restore this folder

You will now have stock 4.0.2 and all your phone data will be wipe clean completely
So before you do that , use Titanium Backup to backup your apps/data and restore back it from the backup. Any important stuffs you see inside the internal SDcard - copy it to your PC. You can copy these back to the internal SDcard after flash

use the GNex toolkit to root back and have CWM installed

I assume you understand those tech terms mentioned

You also can download the stock 4.0.2 image (4.0.2 (ICL53F)) from Google servers at
http://code.google.com/android/nexus/images.html

and flash the zip file by using the GNex toolkit

Not hard. Understanding is hard (quite hard for early adopters). But it's fun once you get the basic idea. People usually won't get Nexus phones for casual use. They will try to push it to the max, tweaking here and there.

That what sifu are there for, rclxms.gif
To newbies like me, some term are hard to understand. Only by trying out by myself that I can understand it. However, we still need guidance once in a while since we are newbies. Otherwise, we all will be sifu right.
And that is where forum like this one come in handy.
Many thanks to everyone, currently downloading ARHD and will flash it tonight
