QUOTE(xxdooyo @ Jan 28 2012, 06:41 PM) Download stock rom from google website here Make sure you download 4.0.2 (ICL53F). Put the .tgz file in this folder (put_google_factory_image_here) inside the gnex toolkit folder. Run toolkit and follow option no 8. Make sure you backup everything as it will wipe out all data. QUOTE(benny888 @ Jan 28 2012, 06:44 PM) 1. First unlock bootloader, root it and installed CWM recovery : installed GNEX toolkit thanks guys. will be trying it now. ehhehe. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1392310 2. Download stock rom 4.0.2 from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1398800 3. Boot into recovery mode and backup your current rom 4. Copy the extracted folder 2011-12-18.16.07.08 into clockworkmod/backup in phone 5. Switch off phone, boot into recovery select restore this folder You will now have stock 4.0.2 and all your phone data will be wipe clean completely So before you do that , use Titanium Backup to backup your apps/data and restore back it from the backup. Any important stuffs you see inside the internal SDcard - copy it to your PC. You can copy these back to the internal SDcard after flash use the GNex toolkit to root back and have CWM installed I assume you understand those tech terms mentioned You also can download the stock 4.0.2 image (4.0.2 (ICL53F)) from Google servers at http://code.google.com/android/nexus/images.html and flash the zip file by using the GNex toolkit sorry for those newb question. coz im really 1st time android. and dun understand their robot terms. does wikipedia lists them and explains them? |

lol, my problem is like. the main problem i cant flash, is coz i cant upload files into my phone.
referring to benny thread. only 2 ways to do it. 1) he said dat if i connect phone to cpu, will have Windows Explorer : Galaxy Nexus/Internal Storage. but i dun seem to understand, and i click my computer. din see anything there related to my phone. 2) using wifi file explorer. the free version doesnt allow me to upload the flash file . =.= and currently dun have a credit card, so cant purchase the pro version. omg omg omg Added on January 29, 2012, 3:21 pm QUOTE(Molotov Cocktail @ Jan 29 2012, 03:18 PM) have u installed gnex usb driver first? if not your comp can't detect the phone through usb connecting, can find at the first page if im not mistaken i was wondering too. but if so, why i can unlock and root the phone.o.o darnnn This post has been edited by FuNks: Jan 29 2012, 03:21 PM |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jan 29 2012, 03:28 PM) I am using volt+ at +10 but is still dissapointing compared to my other g note and tab. The difference is very obvious i always had my usb debugging tick on.Increasing vol this way though has improvement also make sound quality not as natural when playing movies Added on January 29, 2012, 3:41 pm You must set at settings/developer options : android debugging is tick and selected for phone to be displayed as another device in windows explorer but wads the 'selected for phone to be displayed as another device in windows explorer' ? in phone or cpu huh? |
