What is the proper way to flash a new kernel? Just copy paste install from CWM or need to wipe cache?

*clear dalvik
*flash new kernel

Oh ya... Btw can i know how to change the boot screen to stock? I dont like the Unicorn boot screen in AOKP vmad.gif

Depending on which cook rom you installed, Use root explorer - browse to /system/media or /data/local - rename the bootanimation zip. You can also replace it with the original ICS boot animation - google for the original bootanimation zip. Reset phone and the cook rom animation zip will be replaced with just a simple Android single word animation

*download bootanimation.zip (which one you prefer depend on you)
*move it to your SD
*browse using root explorer
*go to \system\media
*copy paste the bootanimation.zip in that folder
*change permission to -rw-r-r
*reboot your phone, then okay already smile.gif

On ARHD 2.1.3 medium usage... Not bad i would say.. Next is for me to find good kernel... Left with 14%

in build20 AOKP... you can disable the unicorn bootscreen with just 1 tick
