SBG ready to be hoist up. It lines up the street along Jalan Jengka

Good news is SS14 section of the viaduct will soon be completed. Bad news is I wonder if this reeks of inefficiency on TRC's part.

Height I don't know, but alignment wise it will not follow Kesas.

maybe i can try to answer you based on what i think it is. could be wrong laugh.gif

It is wide because of its integration with BRT. You can choose to continue the trip should you wish to go elsewhere without getting off the platform level.

It is high up for possible flyover along that stretch

Drive through nkve today and spot some workers on top of the lrt bridge across the road where the missing link is. The missing link suppose to connect to the other lrt line and the gap is like 2 meters wide. Quite scarry to see the suporting pillars is so far apart by the sideof the highway and the tip of the lrt bridge looks potruding and hanging onn top of the road. By the way im glad to see there IS someone working on the lrt extension tho the number of lrt workers is not as vibrant as mrt

no worries, this is called the cantilever bridge design... super safe despite the way it looks.

I dunno what TRC is doing some times.. I asked a rail engineer friend why there are gaps between the viaduct sections and that they don't look even. He found it strange that they are constructing it this way. Perhaps I should check with my uncle as well.. rclxub.gif
