Rear torsion beam of Shawie and GaGa = S A M E. Only difference is the spindle, brake hub, bearing, bearing clip, spindle nut. The rest are common part, therefore I have not change a thing other than those affect the bearing wear. If I remember correctly, last time I got share here, if you looking for Savvy brake shoe, usually the sparepart guy will tell you "Walauweh! Savvy ar?! You die lor! The ranjiao part very da ranjiao expansib geh!!!! Lemme see ar" Then the sohigh will go pretend flip price list, and tell you RM120. You go ask another person ask the same shop for BLM brake shoe, you'll probably get it for RM60 shocking.gif In the nutshell, they're the same. Packaging wise, Shawie is an orphan if kena slaughter if go straight and ask for Shawie replacement parts.

As for open camber at the back, if toe not lari, no need to bother. Rear camber for all GaGa and Shawie by default -0.5 both left and right for maximum handling, tyre wear are acceptable with that setup. My case is, after that incident the tofu beam(Can't call it torsion beam anymore since it's soft like a tofu) already injured. I've ran the car for few days and figured my rear tyre wear imbalance. I've sent to Jalan Bukit Kemuning, look for Ah Hee at Teoh Brothers Toyo Tyres behind Giant Bukit Kemuning. After 4 wheel assessment, found rear right camber already exceed tolerable angle at -1.5' and toe out -1.3'. Realign the whole axle by adding washer to spindle, front wheel alignment all together for RM110(discounted price).

As for fuel pump, you wouldn't know when it kaput. The thing that kaput is the float. Mine have the exact same problem, suddenly it detect no fuel, suddenly all come back. Suka² it goes half a tank then restore. I'm just bearing with it, as long my trip meter reaches 400km, I'll go fuel up full tank. Until 1 day I switch key to ON but no more sound from fuel pump, then I know it's time to change. My next fuel pump probably going to be GaGa also whistling.gif I have not measure, but most probably will detach the fuel pump, blast it with diesel first(prevent catch on fire) then bring the whole damn thing to sparepart shop ask the fella bring out a GaGa fuel pump and compare whistling.gif I wouldn't even wanna tell the sparepart fella whether ayam using it on what car.

Anyway, recently the symptoms seems reduced or close to none. I think cleaning up the tank does help hmm.gif Ran a bottle of this, split 3 full tank of petrol to finish it. I think after that no longer see the fuel indicator sudden drop liao hmm.gif Shall see unsure.gif

On my Citroen the stuck float thing was helped by filling up with E10. Petrol with higher ethanol content. But I'm not sure how to get that in Malaysia and if it will hurt the engine... basically that stuff is so aggressive that it cleaned the tank, worked nearly instantly laugh.gif Then again, always reset tripmeter when you fill up (and always make full tank). Then you can get an idea at what point the sensor fails. If it suddenly drops to 0 while driving even though there should be plenty left then it sounds like a different problem... on the Citroen the problem was that it wouldn't rise above empty laugh.gif

Are there any Savvy owners who go to Singapore to buy spare parts? Got any problems getting parts there? Good price? I drive a Kangoo, so Singapore is a great source for Renault spare parts. Now an Uncle is looking for a decent second hand car...
