Only thing I can think of is getting it officially telco unlock. Maybe they have "jalan". Replacing the chip... Don't think they have the experts in doing that.

I'm kinda skeptic.. worried they might replace my 4S parts with a 4? LoL..

all of them reboot/respring randomly once or twice per day.
only figure out the problem after reading and digging
it was caused by the cameralocker.

i have problem with openssh. i have search the whole internet on how to connect to iphone ssh. it seems everytime i use winscp or putty to connect also fail... i even tried tunneling with usb cable also cannot..

help! thanks in advance!

make sure u set the password n host correctly.
default parameters:
user = root
password = alpine
protocol = sftp (ssh file transfer protocol)
host = (check in your setting)
port = (NA)

all checked... i suspect my routers fault... gonna try at friends place tmr.. will update when it is done. thanks mate!

try alternative client such as filezilla or cuteftp. validate your root password as well, u can use terminal.

Jailbreaking the iPhone is allowed by Low Yat forum (read the stickies too) and also given an exception under the DMCA. The EFF is asking for another waiver for the next 2 years too.

We know damn well that there are people who jailbreak whose only reason to jailbreak is to steal apps (that's you) and we have been extra vigilant in making sure that those discussion are off limits. So if you get slammed by members, that's because you did not read the first post!

I jailbreak my iPhone because I like tweaks found in cydia and some are paid tweaks. Pls don't come in and polute the whole thread with your stupidity of jb. You don't deserve jb, get a life dude...

Scam. Your suspicion about them opening the casing and replacing it with iPhone 4 parts may be warranted.

I am successfully jailbreaking my frens 3gs iOS 5.0.1 BB 6.15.0. Production week 35 of 2009. but unfortunately I failed to unlock using Ultrasnow 1.2.5. It is keep searching eventho after respring and after tethered reboot.

Tell us again how you jailbreak the 3Gs? Did you use sn0wbreeze?

Im using redsn0w 0.9.9b9d and also 0.9.10b5.

Follow post #1 in this thread. There's a guide on how to upgrade and preserve the 6.15 baseband for the 3Gs using sn0wbreeze. A lot of members have indicated that sn0wbreeze is a much better option if you are using the 6.15 baseband.

i read about this problem sometimes ago. somebody manage to fix the problem by installing/reinstalling mobilesubstrate in cydia (try uninstall both mobile substrate and ultrasn0w, install mobile substrate again n it will reboot your phone. then install ultrasn0w again praying it will work).. additionally u can try flashing the BB again using redsn0w.

+1, you can also try re-Flashing the 3Gs with the iPad baseband again and see if that will work.

I re-JB my device using absinthe version 4 and now everytime cydia refresh, i never get any error message prompted.. Thanks Az..

is the unlock for the latest baseband out yet?
