That is true, BUT Apple does upgrade the baseband for reasons other than to thwart unlockers and downgraders. Sometimes, if you are having issues with signal quality etc and you are on an officially factory unlocked iPhone, for trouble shooting purposes, the first thing people will notice is that your baseband is way too old for that iOS. |

Guys, jailbreak using 5.0.1 With Absinthe tools need to restore my 4s 1st or not?
youtube shown that guy din restore his phone.

Everyone knows that annoying bug where sometimes when u click ur apps, it doesn't launch?
After i jailbroken my iPhone4s, it happens so frequent, like 4, 5 times a day.
Before this it only happened once in 1 week.
I am restoring.

if contract iphone 4s with telco (which suppose to mean locked sim) can it be jail broken?
do i have to make it unlock sim first? or i still can maintain my lock sim to JB?

just want to share with u guys.
i have this app called "video safe", an app tht require password for you to open up a folder where it saves all your "you know what" videos and photos.
please remove it from your phone before proceeding to jailbreaking. same goes to any app tht require password.
else u wont be able to jail break. hope it helps

Contract iPhone with telco in Malaysia does not mean locked sim. All phones sold in Malaysia are officially unlocked as in if you buy from Maxis, you still can use sim card from Digi or Celcom. Depends on which Telco, ALL telco in Malaysia (even if you're on contract) are required to sell factory unlocked phones (something right that the MCMC did for once). Unless you bought it on contract in another country, say the US, then it's sim-locked and No, there is no unlock solution for the 4s at the moment. Musclenerd is working on it, but don't get your hopes up. |
