1.I deleted my Onavo profile
2.I deleted my Onavo app
3.I reset my network settings
4.Hard Reboot iPhone [home button + power button]
5.in settings wont show personal hotspot [ignore this]
6.General > Network [personal hotspot will be here]
7.go back and check at General
8.Personal Hotspot is re-enabled

i'm not sure if some people have this problem or me alone, i googled before post here, and quite a few people had this problem

all said they reset network settings and it is solved, for me its not. i need to delete my onavo first then it is solved

i'm afraid to re-install onavo now, but i'll try soon enuf to test it to check if it is jailbreaking problem or onavo problem

Added on January 28, 2012, 12:26 amOK i just tested it, the culprit was actually the Onavo App, and not the jailbreak

Once u install Onavo, Personal Hotspot will be disable from the list....

What the hell? an app to Shrink data but disable hotspot? blarghhh >.>

There is a lot of complaints about Onavo and once it is installed as one of a profile, you will lose your personal hotspot.

By the way, ever since Apple implemented the carrier settings update, you will not be able to edit your APN and what not. The menu will not be there.

Did you encrypt your backup in the first place? If you did then that maybe the issue. If not, I'm not sure what could be the problem.

I have an iPhone 4 JB with redsn0w and running 5.0.1
I haven't had many probem except maybe people not being able to hear me at times when I have certain things installed. But today now I am getting a "Hash Sum Mismatch" when I try to install something I got from cydia. Any idea how to fix it?????? Thanks!!!

apps crash... remove them. that's the only solution, unless you are a programmer then you could fix the bugs.

Guys, there are certain time when i launch cydia apps, while searching for tweaks suddenly cydia closed automatically. Anyone experience this before?

anyone tried remove background setting from sbs? mine keep crush and force to restart.. it is not recommend for user smile.gif

This happens once or twice to me. What I noticed us that if you don't wait for Cydia to finish searching for the keywords, it will crash. If you wait until all the tweaks based on your keyword is found, then it will be okay. Usually happens to iPhone 4 on Corina exploit jailbreak.

Usually associated with Cydia not loading properly.

still can use sbsettings to close app once at a time.

guys i played the JB absinthe and when i tried the 1st step by plugin the usb but the JB couldn't detect my iphone signal , anyone experience it? what should i do next or anything to solve it?

Thanks bro for ur clarification.. But am using 4s jb using absinthe.. Maybe its due to as what u said on cydia searching the keywords..
