QUOTE(timothyy @ Jan 30 2012, 06:13 PM) Eh? How come I feel like I read this somewhere... 142mm treaxle is future proof? I thought that is proprietary thingy? Thing like 30mm seatpost... ? 142x12 is being adapted by most brands. Trek, Specialized, Intense, Giant, to name a few. It seems like 142 is going to be the future, but dunno lah, 135 people still using oso. This is just my opinion.

QUOTE(anthony_nch82 @ Jan 30 2012, 05:06 PM) Speaking about budget? I will be confused. Before I got my Scott Spark 60 2012. My budget was $2,500.00 After I few trips to Bikepro. I got a new bike for $5,000.00 plus. LoL! I can't resist the look. (Matt Black+Red) according to research...matte black can make u faster!

Maybe my RS SID will be retired and subsitute with Musang Talas 120-150, 15QR Kak Shima. Much cheaper than change bike. My wife wouldn't notice too.. If she happen to noticed it.. It will be much easier to handle than CHANGE Bike. Win-win solution For normal ride.. (Keep 120mm) Downhill at Kiara (switch to 150mm)

Go do some read up on bikes like scratch air, spec enduro... And know what they say about climbing and downhilling. Regardless, with 150mm, ur bike will do better but if your current RS already able to change to 160, having a fox talas will not show any major diff. I'd say... Check the geometry. And color... LoL~ Seems like many TREK fans in this forum. Perhaps most of the Sifu's here using it. By the way, can I know how much is the estimated price for:- 1) Trek Slash 2) Spec Enduro 3) Yeti SB66, just a full bike price (Roughly) Too bad I only have idea on Giant and Scott's price.
