Hi Bro,

Based on our hands-on experiences, Cisco Linksys E4200 although has some good reviews, but actual performance is not as promising as it should be. But it's definitely better than its predecessor.

Please check out my PM for more details.

Thanks.

Hi Bro,

It depends on buildings. Generally Time authorized Installer will pull the fibre cable from the riser room across common area (corridor). This part the fibre cable will run through PVC pipe.
When it reaches your house, the fibre cable will be glued either following the edge of your wall or sits on top of your floor skirting. There will be no pvc pipe for internal caling in your house...else it looks ugly ...lol

Sometimes minor drilling is needed, sometimes it can be avoided. Installer will patch up the drill hole for you at no cost.

Thanks.

For condo/apartment, how come the MAXIS FIBER or UNIFI, they can use back the existing telephone socket for their FIBER broadband, but TIME have to do all the drill n wiring setup? Can TIME do the same as MAXIS/UNIFI? Because don't want to mess up the renovation..

Hi Bro,

Time's 'signature' is 100% Fibre, which means all the way from OLT to FTB to Splitter to customer's premise (ONU), all will be on fibre.

In fact there are many ways to avoid mess up. Feel free to drop me a line or email or PM, we have done many units which are not using standard ways of Installation.

Thanks biggrin.gif

Hi there,

I'm planning to move to PJ (Pelangi Utama Apartment, Bandar Utama) end of this year.

Planning to get fiber broadband for my own use. Wondering should I get 100mbps at RM179 or 8mbps for RM129.

Any advise?

Only use for surfing, downloading, sometimes gaming but very rare.

Hi Bro,

I'm sure you know that 100Mbps package has a quota of 100GB, reaching this your speed will be throttled to 1Mbps until the reset of next month.

Please check my PM for more details.

Thanks & Good Day.

Moving to The Light Collection I condominium in Penang later this month. It's a newly constructed unit (completed just July 2013), I am wondering if Time has laid its fibre there?

According to Time's website, Time covers The Light Point and The Light Linear condominiums. These two buildings are only one road-width away from Light Collection I condominium.

Also, do pm me with available promotion, I must have missed it.

TIME 100Mbps has monthly quota of 100GB. So, when you exceed the quota, the internet speed will be throttled to 1Mb. If you are a heavy user, I advise you to get the other Time packages (8Mbps,15Mbps,30Mbps).
