I want to install brushed esc & proper servo in a small toy rc car. Obviously it will use AA batteries. Will the batteries enough to handle both esc & the servo? Also about the brushed motor, I just need to connect it to the esc, no need modification?

You'll need 4x AA batteries to properly power the esc and servo but ideal for 130 size brushed motor. So need modification to connect motor to esc (brushed).

Wow nice! A Serpent with Novarossi nitro engine Serious performance right there. You can easily join some serious 1/8 races on dirt track. What fuel brand you're using?
I'm still using old Hong Nor X3 buggy.
