means your phone cant connect to hotspot connection created by mobile device.

Example your Nokia Lumia 900 got hotspot feature

your Nokia Lumia 800 cant connect to your Lumia 900 because adhoc connection not supported

it doesnt matter they call it hotspot connection it can be from an iphone, android, mifi as long as its a hotspot connection your windowsphone cant detect it.

Your windowsphone cant see any hotspot connection when other phones can

creating hotspot got 2 mode, one is Ad-hoc mode (Vista and below windows for example)...one is Infrastructure mode (Wireless Access point, android for example)

symbian/meego/maemo/iOS/PC can connect to ad-hoc, but not android...not sure on WP...maybe like android too?

sifu, your HOX wifi hotspot cannot be detected by Lumia device? strange..because HOX (android) suppose to create wifi in infrastructure mode, which is globally can be connected by any device...

Lumia 900's screen may be bigger but its resolution is still the same as the Lumia 800 so there aren't actually more pixels. Images won't look as sharp.

Yes, the pixel density is lower. So, in terms of sharpness, it's worse but look at the bright side of Lumia 900 as well. It is a non-pentile AMOLED screen. I would rather have a larger size and non-pentile on Lumia 900 than the pentile display on Lumia 800.

Lumia 900 is basically similar to 800 with a larger screen. smile.gif

huMmm, pentile<tft screen< amoled < super amoeld screen?

Im not sure if Lumia 800 have pentile screen, but if it have, so shall be N9 too..which I'm not sure what is the difference between pentile and non pentile screen.

from what I noticed...pentile screen = miniature checker board screen?
