I used to get 3g coverage in my housing area but now only able to get E since last few week and no idea what is going on.. 2km away from my housing area which are my working area, the 3g signal is good and sometimes able to reach H+.. Based on this situation, is the antenna will help me improve my signal in my housing area? If yes, which type antenna would u recommend?

Hi there

Have you tried forcing your network settings to 3G/WCDMA only? If yes, what are the results?
Have you tried both indoor and outdoor at your premise?

Hi again

Based on your information, we believe our 10dBi OMNI antenna would be the most suitable one for you.

Hi there

We believe the external antenna slot on ZTE MF70 is to improve 3G signal only and not WiFi.

Meanwhile, our initial Google search results Wifisky MW2000 is equipped with RP-SMA-male external antenna slot.
However, please confirm that with your supplier or take a photo and post it here.

If we are correct, you will be needing RP-SMA-female to TS9 connector as TS9 is being used by ZTE MF70.

Hope that helps.

Hi again

Yes, your connector is RP-SMA-male and you'll need RP-SMA-female to TS9 connector as per the link given earlier to connect it to the antenna.

Hi can I use the 16dBi omni 4g antenna for my b660 even though I only have 3g signal at my place? It seems to have a higher gain compared to the 10dBi 3g antenna and also cheaper too. Sorry for my newbie understanding. Thanks

Hi there

We have done tests with the 16dBi antenna using our Huawei B683 HSPA+ 28.8Mbps unit earlier and there are significant speed improvement with the antenna.
Please refer to the results as per below:

Thanks for your explanation Andrew.
Ok if I were to get that particular antenna, I suppose it wouldn't make any difference if I placed it close to my modem right? Do I need to keep moving it around to find a sweet spot?
Wife not really keen on cables snaking around u see

Hi again

You will need to move it along with your modem and locate the best spot to get optimal results.

Hi there

We have several types from Category 3 LTE 100Mbps and Category 4 LTE 150Mbps.

Do you have any specific budget?

You can view all our MiFis from the link below and the speed categories are on the left.

Link: http://andrewsestore.com/store/network-dev...dem-router.html

Meanwhile, we have clearly mentioned under our features section on the availability of external antenna slots.

You can also clarify further for confirmation if you are in doubt.

Thank you
