There is no external antenna slot on e5832 therefore it is not possible. Only E583c MiFi is capable at the moment.

Yes, E355 acts as wifi router, supporting up to 5 devices via wifi. You may use the external antenna accordingly if you're facing bad reception or coverage at your area.

The 10dBi Omni antenna consists of 4 detachable pieces.

a) The base (Compulsory)
b) 1st detachable (Compulsory) - 5dBi gain
c) 2nd detachable (Not compulsory) - 2.5 dBi gain
d) 3rd detachable (Compulsory) - 2.5dBi gain

According to the list above,

i) part a), b) and d) is compulsory to be attached together and would approximately gain 7.5dBi.

ii) if all the part ~ a), b), c) and d) is attached together and would approximately gain 10dBi.

Based on i) and ii), the antenna can be used for 7.5dBi or 10dBi gain according to individual preference.


Yes, you could place it on your car roof while travelling as we have a few customer doing so.
Just be careful when you are passing the toll-booth.
