then why r we stuck at 28 fps?

Even SlashGear say its capable of 60fps video imaging. So I have no idea, could be the limitation of the processor or other part of the hardware?

ok so based on the video, its 30fps at 1080p and 60fps at 720p, does that match the capability of GNex?

I have used matte sp for my previous LG o2X, i personally dont like it.

The top and bottom parts are not fully covered is it?

Because you can see rainbow pixels right?
I personally like it because it is smooth when sliding my finger across the screen
and the most importantly, no fingerprint.

Dont really care much for the rainbow pixels.
