I got lag issue while AirPlay mirroring my iPad via atv3. Im using Unifi vip5. I don have issue wif playing trailer or YouTube. Only glitch while mirror games...anyone?

I already double check.Using 4mbps streamyx,same tv(Only 720p,not fullHD) ,same range of wireless,i make a difference between netflix ps3 and appleTV.While using my ps3,I manage to get Medium HD starting from Medium SD,and go to High SD and last until Medium HD.Then I pause the movie see it clearly and off ps3 and turn on appleTV.Sadly,my appleTV only manage to get probably low SD until Medium SD and probably High SD but never even Medium HD.Really sad

i managed to watch 720p on my atv2 using icefilms.. for netflix.. i set to dvd quality only...

i'm not undermining your eyes in any, but i'd like to add that the fact that apple tv doesn't have an option to show what quality you're currently streaming in adds to placebo effect to it as well


i'd only notice resolution drop when i'm downloading, which is a given.

How u guys Jailbreak ur apple tv gen 3? I couldn't buy the micro usb cable.. please help me...

there aren't any available jailbreak methods for the apple tv 3rd gen as of yet.

atv3 no jb at the moment.. and for micro usb.. u can grab any of those for phones.. lot of android phone using it.. samsung, lg, motorola, nokia... etc

Actually I make a compare between 10 minutes of the movie with watching transformers dark moon.I keep observe the difference between SD and HD on PS3 while pressing select and recheck it using appleTV again.Thats why I say it only got probably low SD-high SD but not Medium HD like the ps3 and I keep doing this 2-3 times by switching it back and forth

Hai All... Just Bought Apple TV Gen 3... still exploring.. connecting with 5ghz WiFi seem like Streaming buffering faster.. hmm.. maybe it's just me.

atv3 not shown on itunes. when connecting to pc no need plug in right? just use usb?

Why do you need to get it connected to itunes via USB? Updating the firmware? And yes, you don't need to power it via the plug, the usb should power the atv when it is connected to the PC.

there's latest update on atv3 5.0.2. shall i update it?
