Yup.. works like wonder.. no more connecting to laptop just to restart it..

im using streamyx 4mbps. sometimes with traffic also buffering. use unifi if you got it in your area. I heard its much much better than streamyx. at least got 5mbps. Im waiting to be available as well so I can switch.

NOt only icefilms and navi-x. tonnes of addons you can use to watch movies. Im using icefilms to watch 720hd movies. easier to select..

Yes.. on average, im able to stream a full 720hd movie without buffering.. as smooth as watching dvd. yup.. addon from xbmc...

the only cons for ATV3 is currently no jailbreak yet. thats all, the rest are pros. Faster processor, bigger ram, 1080 full hd... etc... y i choose to buy atv2 is due to atv3 lack of xbmc

just google xbmchub and you will able to get alot of info on xbmc. as for the speed, as long as your internet is fast, no issues on it.

Added on June 8, 2012, 6:32 pmhmm... so far i only use my us id on my iphone since i sold my ipad already. never use to buy movies from atv as the movie too expensive. usd4.99 for rental. to buy cost usd19.99. i rather use my iphone to stream pps and use air mirroring to my tv... FOC...

cos u havent set ur itunes store location. Go to setting>General>itunes store

Added on June 13, 2012, 12:09 amso far i use streamyx 4mb, sometimes watch halfway buffer a while. As for unifi, i heard very smooth. Never experienced myself. not much comment. but for 1mb... sure die.. lag until u no mood watch.

what i did was.. i use pps on my iphone and use airplay to watch on my tv... as pps is a china software, all movies are with chinese sub..

not that i know of... only english sub... cos the subtitle list i check no chinese

Ya..can buy from BRY7. I almost buy from him too... but my my ex-colleague managed to help me to find one unit of the 2nd Gen... hehee... in LYN none are selling new 2nd Gen ATV laio...

Added on June 24, 2012, 11:34 pmvery simple only... for ATV3... no jailbreak at the moment... so all u need is to connect it to ur tv via HDMI and setup using ur apple US id.. then the location u can set US or others.. if r using iphone or ipad, u still can use airplay and mirror it...

none for the atv3 as it cant be jailbreak yet... for jb unit, u can use to watch espn.. just get the sources right... as for the malaysia channel tv, i think they removed it already...

but keep in mind the new atv3 cant be jb now.. so even if u get it now, u can only

1. air play (air mirroring from ur idevices with at least ios 4.3 and above)
2. itunes store movies
3. no netflix as malaysia no netflix. if u using US acc, then probably can use VPN.

n to make sure u got a fast internet connection to avoid long buffering.... n get a hdmi cable to avoid having to go back to buy... i bought one from apple authorised store at RM59...

not too sure.. i bought since its apple product.. but the last i ask about hdmi cable, what are the difference between a cheap one and those super expensive one, the seller told me is the quality.. cheap one dont last as long as the expensive 'gold' cable..
