When I was buying in the Apple store in UK, the sales man told me that he receives more complaints for Jawbone up instead of Fitbit Flex.
Some more with fitbit, you get the cheaper one with the same functionalities. Hence, that's why I fall in love with Fitbit Flex.
Hope it helps,
Thanks,

Accuracy is not really an issue since it's "relative". Furthermore most of the inaccuracies in these wearables is due to each of our cadence and step length - and Fitbit does allow you to configure that (to improve accuracy).
I wear the Fitbit when I run - and in running, you do know your cadence ie how many steps per minute and also the distance. So it's easy for me to check Fitbit's accuracy and surprisingly I find Fitbit underreporting my distance ie I would have ran 10K and it's showing steps for 8K.
Doesn't really bother me since I'm continuously measuring my progress (or decline) on the "same device" so any over- or under-reporting is cancelled out.
Fitbit to me, still stands out as one of the best brand for this type of wearables.
Did you consider the Xiaomi Mi Band? Which Fitbit model is the best?

to those who want to buy fitbit, dont bother with it
got mine from singapore 3 weeks ago, wear it all the time except shower
after 3 months, charging got problem. need to use alcohol to clean it. use toothpick to clean
clean d can charge for a couple of more times, then back to cannot charge again . need to clean again .
seriously, it is an activity tracker. of course i wear it for biking and running
wanna tell me dirt accumulated at charging terminals cannot be avoided due to activity? i'll said its POS. get ur product to work more effectively and not expect user to clean it with alcohol on a weekly basis ...
gave mine to my nephew and even he start telling me it cannot charge anymore. and he doesnt even run or go for sports !!

which model are you using?
So is the fitbit really that bad? I would like my running, walking and sleeping to be tracked. Is Fitbit for me? I don't the jawbone series because the gadget doesn't wrap around my wrist like how the Fitbit does.
