Hmm. Maybe thats the problem also for nicregi, ktools could not detect his backup because backup is done with older version of ktools.

When apn in mms only it can't be selected.. Can be selected when set Internet or Internet + mms

I suggest you to PM this member & ask him about restoring efs with terminal.
He's the only member I remember who managed to successfully restored his corrupted efs partition.

no, the older file can be detected fine with the new update. the new backup that I did after update was the corrupted one

Which is more worthy to buy, a G or non-G unit? I'm a light gamers, I use the phone more for communication via Line, Whatsapp, emails and Fring. Oh i got alot of backup. From autobackup with rom and kernel flashing, ktools and some i also dunno where it come from. My sdcard is littered with lots of efs**** files.

Try umount -l /efs.

Hmm dunno if its problem with G version or not. But at least u got the img backup, tar is just additional.

Problem fix after reboot phone. phew..
