So must buy black S2 if want non-G. That means G are new models, while non-G must be mfg some time already. Right? Double confirm before I make a deal with a seller.

Which is more worthy to buy, a G or non-G unit? I'm a light gamers, I use the phone more for communication via Line, Whatsapp, emails and Fring. But sometimes when you sit there and customers called, oh sorry, I will be late, please wait for me. The wait could be one hour or more, so this is when I play some games or watch movies.
G or non-G? Still have difference or the software updates have made the two brothers closer to each other? Many thanks in advance. |

Anyone can share with me the output value on the ori charger? Is it 5.0V and 0.7A? I'm not at home and forgot to bring my charger. The nearest shop does not have any S2 accessories. But does have other similar charges. Thanks.

What is the cheapest clear sp and yet very good, in terms that the plastic will stick to the phone and won't come off after a few months. I have not come across any cheap sp that will turn yellowish or turn colour. Currently I hv the matte one, but the view is not that nice. Like I can see a lot of small little pixels, which I don't really like.
If I peal off my matte sp, can i keep it for other use? Added on January 15, 2012, 10:18 pmThere are a few errors appearing on the front page, can these be rectify? Under Post #4, FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - PART 2 3. Which is a better backup solution : Nanddroid backup or Titanium Backup. Or is there any other backup apps better than these two ? First of all , Nandroid Backup is NOT an app. You will have an option of a FULL backup of your phone as it is condition at time of backup using a BACKUP choice in ClockworkMod recovery. Your backup here is often called a Nandroid backup . All your phone's data, apps, settings, roms, kernel etc is FULLY 100 % backup, Under this ClockworkMod recovery you will also have option to RESTORE 100 % the phone status <<<< Read post #4 on rom section to know more about recovery and Clockworkmod recovery>>>> 4. I cannot view the names of my Chinese songs in the music player - it all turns out gibberish Sub 5) after the selection, go on to tools (at the top row) -> options -> tags -> mpeg -> select ID3v2.4 UTF-8 instead of UTF-16. Should we change / update the front page info from samfirmware.com to sammobile.com now, eg:
A2: Yes. For ordinary users, the official software upgrade from Samsung can be done with PC application software from Samsung called Kies. For SGS purchased in Malaysia , the original firmware that came with the SGS time of purchase is DX*** or DZ**** For users with more knowledge in terms of flashing the firmware, it can use an application called Odin who currently is version 1.8. Firmware file itself can be downloaded from the Internet at www.samfirmware.com ( you need to sign up and register which is free to download ) Firmware used is free from the region in the sense that we can install the firmware from another region (Europe, America, Africa and others) with the risk we will lose settings or special application in force in Indonesia or in Southeast Asian region. But the password is still samfirmware.com (un-changed) |

My phone GT-I9100
I wanted to use chinese and malay together with english, so I went and got the Singapore version of 2.3.6 from sammobile. Is there a 2.3.6 stock rom for Malaysia? Cos now I plug into Kies it says "Your device does not support software upgrading via Kies". This is because I used Singapore's rom or did I modified something accidentally? |

i believe it's because you are using non-malaysia rom reflash back to malaysia rom then you will be able to update it Yes, I downloaded Singapore rom. That is because I saw online you all upgraded to 2.3.6, while I was still on 2.3.4. I plug into Kies, it didn't say there was any upgrades. So I went to sammobile to download but I saw malaysian rom is still 2.3.4, only Singapore roms are 2.3.6. You guys upgrade from 2.3.4 to 2.3.6 via Kies? |
