Wat about Sensation XL or SGS2?
What would be a better buy?

XL is a single core phone with the overrated beats headset. the phone and the earphone are both pointless, not worth the money, and all in all a rip off.

SGS2 if you can find the Non-G version. Else, Sensation XE(some weird lag issues), motorola razr or you can wait another month or so.

I keep reading about the next generation of smartphones coming, when is it expected to come (rough estimatation is ok), and how much the current model prices are expected to drop?

I want to buy the best configured phone. I m inclined towards galaxy nexus but m not sure whether it is the top choice in terms of hardware. The only good thing is ICS..what will happen when other phones will get ICS. Will they perform better than Nexus..
Is there any phone below 2500 that can beat google nexus....htc sony samsung motorola any will work.. I m looking to buy within week.

only issue I see with Gnexus were camera and lower hardware config as compared to usa one.

I thought may be other phones such as HTC and Samsung,especially s2 will work as good as nexus when ICS is applied. But I m google fan, so will buy android for sure and if it's google nexus why not..
I just don't want my phone to be outdated very soon though I know every gadget is outdated sooner or later.

For anywhere around 1k price tag. One could consider the Huawei Honor priced at RM 1099 it is avaiable for ICS update too.

To me the Nexus series is over-rated. High retail price, no SD card slot. Is vanilla Android so desirable? Can just get another popular phone and flash CM9 or whatever, yes? First to get new Android version - what's the rush?
