To request recommendation, what u need to post:

1. Brand : prefer samsung
2. Budget: rm1000 ( can pay a little more than that)
3. Specs: not really sure as long as i can play game smoothly...
4. What you need in the phone : good camera, not-laggy when playing wit games and apps.... possibly long battery life...

I'm currently looking at the samsung S plus... but not really sure should i wait for S3 to come out and straight buy S2... because S2 have a better camera... can any 1 give me some advice?

if camera is important to you then you should get xperia arc / arc s

price range from Rm999-Rm1300 for ap/ori have HDMI output ( you can show ur pic on tv and control with your tv remote !!!!!! cool function )

have bravia engine which better than super amoled pen tile and on par with super amoled plus and have

best cam for android . Other than s2 , almost all samsung line have bad cam / without led flash / 5mp

downside is lower internal memory and no front cam . You should get it if you don mind the front cam thing

because the rear cam really different alot .


or you can get galaxy W , its cam is at least better than s plus with led flash and decent cam

but downside is smaller screen , less quality also but cheaper price

If u can wait then better u go for S3 and u also need to rise your budget..btw if u dont mind 2nd phone..better u go for 2nd SGS2..try to find non G version and maybe u will get at RM1.3k-RM1.4k..depend at your luck ..Im also got mine at garage sale just at RM1.3k last year and its SME set summore

Thanks for the advice... now i'm looking at the xperia Arc S and the xperia ray.. something that is bothering me is arc s dont have the front camera thingy.... Looking at the spec... both are similary the same... what about the back camera quality?

and do arc S have torch light function? can you make a simple comparision about this 2? sorry i'm very new to smartphone thingy and both seems to be quite the same for me..... what important to me is camera and the display quality.... thanks in advance ya!

if really cant over Rm700 then you should get live with walkman which give 3.2" screen , cortex a8 1 ghz equivalence processor , 5mp cam and dual speaker .

or neo V Rm780 ap set . 3.7' screen

I don have ray , but the ray screen is very small when compared to arc when i see at shop .

The ray looks brighter ( maybe too bright ) but the arc colour more accurate it have gapless screen ( when you look at it it seem like colour printing on the screen )

Both can use led as torch .

Camera both are almost equal .

Arc got HDMI output . Sometime i watch video and play music using my tv it is nice


If you don browse web or watching video too much on phone the Ray is a better choice .

However that decide by you , you can have a look of both device at SE authorize shop there is real demo there .


p/s : ray will get face unlock function in ics update in bout 1 month time with second cam . And now SE authorize shop

giving promotion Rm999 come with live sound .
