QUOTE(@skyhawk@ @ Jan 7 2012, 10:29 AM) If camera quality is important - GNote. If you want to snap pics quick and continuously, and without lag - G NexusThere is no perfect 100 % good solution. Both have pros and cons But I would say the G Nexus photoshots are as good as the Note though slightly poorer only. Only photo geeks will be able to spot the differences. |

Gnote is incredibly huge though.
Despite gnex's speed for updates due to it being a dev phone, I won't recommend it as of now due to the high price and the lack of a micro-sd slot. Camera wise the performance is average and inferior to the S2. Unlike the SGS and Nexus S comparison wise, the GNex is somewhat a downgrade from the S2. |

Hi I want to ask, I'm looking for a midrange phone, maximum around 850, the most important thing is the camera quality and ease of use, especially going on the internet because I want to use it to travel so I don't want to bring a lot of gadgets with me, just the phone. Also need to have expansion since I would probably snap a lot of pictures with it. Need to have front camera too cause I need to use to chat with family.
So far Galaxy W and Xperia Neo seems pretty good to me, but Galaxy W is going crazy expensive and I'm not sure on Neo. Do any of you guys have other recommendations? This post has been edited by crystalroselle: Jan 8 2012, 06:19 PM |

But some sites seems to recommend galaxy w on the camera, disregarding the crazy price explosion, is the camera quality of xperia neo better than galaxy w? And is Nexus S camera good? Oh and I forgot to mention that battery span is important too. Is neo's battery span good? Thanks for the reply guys

Neo is 8mp with LED flash, 720p@30fps, continuous autofocus, video light, and also superior in low light shooting due to the Exmor R backlit sensor. Don't take the Neo V (5mp)2. SE is famous in their camera (cybershot?) 3. Nexus S and Galaxy W is having 5mp camera. 4. Nexus S and SE Neo confirmed to get ICS 5. Galaxy W had 2gb storage, Nexus S had 16gb non expandable. Neo, on the other hand, had a small 512mb. Normally the battery on these range of screen size it is about 36h standby default. If you tweak the power option then it can last up to 2-3 days. But don't expect much as the bigger the screen is, the more power hungry it is. Your pick. |
