Is this a good way to compare? Does it translate to actual gaming performance since 1 is dedicated 1 is integrated? Why is my current old but dedicated GPU soooo inferior in this test?

Intel is mostly known for their processors not the GPU, yet they are making GPUs for a pretty long time now, the intel GMA and later the intel HD Graphics. Usually these are integrated with the motherboard(intel GMA) or in the processor(intel HD), they are not bad but not suitable for many tasks.

surprisingly, it can ply fifa17 at 50fps at medium setting. not sure ur card able to play or not,

It depends on which game you play. Say games like GTA V are CPU-intensive, i7 will benefit from that. GT820M outperforms 720M just a little bit to no difference because all of them are low end GPUs.

Looking at the above reply, and your Iris 650 outclasses the HD 520.. I think you would have no issues at all

core i7 will give u advantage on some games require both cpu and gpu.. however, if only gpu only working.. both works relatively the same... just that newer features capibility give 820 advantage.. others are the same...

dota 2 graphic getting demanding.. well, its common for the fan run at max speed...

only medium setting i think... iris are not meant for gaming... but well, its playable...

I've seen there's a difference in the gaming laptop pricing that comes with Nvidia GTX 1050 4GB DDR5 when compared against Nvida GTX1050 2GB DDR5.
Does 2GB of GPU RAM make much difference?

Example:

MSI GP62M 7DR-053 priced at RM3999 has Nvida GTX1050 2GB DDR5 and laptop comes with 8GB RAM
MSI GL62M 7RDX-1022 priced at RM4299 has Nvidia GTX 1050 4GB DDR5 and laptop comes with 4GB RAM
both are Intel Core i7-7700HQ only difference of 2MB cache, and both have same storage 128GB SATA + 1TB HDD, both 15.6".

Among these 2 MSI laptops, assuming with RM4500 cash on hand, which is more worth to buy to play decent games (e.g. Overwatch, Starcraft2, Battlefield, etc)?

I'm planning on purchasing new Lenovo Y520. How much difference interm of % performance between GTX 1050 2gb and GTX 1050 Ti 4gb. The price difference is about RM 1K. Worth it to go for 1050 Ti?

Does anyone feel that the Gtx 1050ti on the laptop performance is quite weak? I play some games like PUBG right in the low configuration setting, while the cpu is 7700hq.

I believe PUBG isn't optimised well across PC platform.
