Can someone enlighten me on this specs ?

Core I7 with Nvida GT720M vs Core I5 with Nvidia GT820M ? (Assume both GPU 2GB)

In terms of gaming which outperforms which ? Nvidia GT820M ??
Would the I7 win over the I5's in terms of gaming ?

I am confused here on what is the use of the Processors in Gaming.
