is it normal if my gpu temperature rise up to 82 degree celcius when playing games such as battlefield 3 and NFS the run?
im using ASUS N45SF.

Kinda normal for BF3.. i never play The Run though. With or without cooling pad?

What is the CPU temp? IMO, 80+ is pretty good for a laptop playing game like BF3. ph34r.gif

abit high la.. but still acceptable i think since msia very hot..

my cpu goes up to 83-84C in bf3

If u sked and think the temp too high, try disable TurboBoost. ph34r.gif

Yup, din't really noticed any performance difference... but I very long time din't play any games also la doh.gif

btw, turbo boost and high performance setting will effect the temperature?? if both setting is on, will it double and triple the temperature compare to using only high performance setting and disable the turbo boost?

that y i put my max processor state for 99% only.. TB will never reach to max..

@acid.. ever since i set 99%, never reach 2.80GHz (mean TB is disable)

correct if i'm wrong.. if i set 100% no doubt my cpu > 75~80 & gpu > 65~70

^ You're right but i was referring to your post below. If you want TB to boost at certain level, you gonna need ThrottleStop 4.00.

but my TB reached max b4 w/o throttlestop that y my GPU can reach 128°C
& till now my GPU never shown it anymore..
