mine is unlocked since day 1 as well, just scared that the new firmware update from here http://www.u.com.my/broadband/firmware-upgrade will lock the device  tongue.gif. i have tried looking for a firmware update from zte's website under malaysia, but couldn't find a generic one
*
Wait... there is hidden agenda with umobile firmware.... yes it's support Umobile and Maxis simcard now but still locked... only that 2 is OK but but not Celcom and maybe digi too (only test celcom).

I believe this is conjunction with the network upgrade by umobile to roaming on maxis started on 6th September.

user posted image

Before - Domestic roaming only 2G with celcom.
coming October - Domestic roaming also 2G with maxis... doh.gif drool.gif

if 'ada calar x ada warranty' this term can stand on it foot, i'm ready to provide 10 years warranty.

i also think all equipment vendor/dealer ready to provide 10/100 year warranty if this term incorporated. (since u never can claim, this is not like LCD/LED white dot/dead dot that countable and factual undeniable, scratch is sth too subjective, full discretion power at seller. (and it can happen easily within journey of posting, whether from u to him, or from him to claim or when first sell to u arrive at your hand with scratch already...)

dari kilang, kekeke

Need help, please.

I'm a new user of UMobile Mifi ZTE MF 60. Everytime when I want to get connected, I must use the USB cable and plug-in into my laptop. Is this the right way.

I was told I don't have to use the USB cable. Just power on the modem and you're connected. But when I powered on, the screen says PIN LOCK. How do I unlock the pin on the modem? I called the customer service centre, and suprisingly they don't know how to solve the problem.
*
put simcard in normal phone 1st and disable the pin. after that put back to modem.

now can connect your pc to modem using wifi.

WOW... you have stock to sell in WTS thread.

reason to sell : reseller

and you're reseller... to be honest, why not test yourself, at least you know your item well as seller. Be like a few seller here (in this thread), they really know it and can answer most of questions fast and accurate.

I have 2 units before... because I find it really easy to use, quite stable too. Both sold my own brother and his fren to use when work abroad. Never had any complaints from him and his fren. They even ask me to look for more units but that time no stock.

My wife also love it, she just need to plug to any usb, wait for awhile and use.

Just my 2 cents.

QUOTE(hs_clover @ Apr 11 2013, 08:30 PM)
if i were to subscribe to digi prepaid broadband of monthly usage (600mb), after i used up my data, will i be charged extra when i continue to use the internet broadband?
*
I can't any plan with 600MB. either 250Mb or 2GB which is the nearest.

So i base on those 2
250MB - The monthly commitment fee is inclusive of bundled voice minutes, SMS and MMS to all domestic networks (applicable to all DG Postpaid™ Plus subscribers) as well as data (applicable to DG 68 Plus and DG 88 Plus subscribers only). Subsequent usage after exceeding the bundled quota will be charged Pay-As-You-Use (P-A-Y-U) rates.

2GB - The speed of your Mobile Internet service will be restricted once your usage has exceeded the monthly quota. However, you will still be able to continue surfing for FREE at regular speed via the Opera Mini browser. Alternatively, you can perform a Mobile Internet Top Up to continue surfing at top speed until your next billing cycle.

As usual ZTE firmware is very hard to get doh.gif

Try searching on Telstra since it is a major OEM but I don't think you can find anything useful.

No luck at all to get the firmware and the dashboard.

Try to reset and activate virtual cdrom using command line also not successful. Maybe I can ask my friend from India or NZ to sent it to me. They have similar modem.

For 4G comparison between Huawei E398 and ZTE MF91 refer below (tested from hotel, 28th floor)

E398

MF91

* this test is not done in Malaysia. tongue.gif

(blacktubi - confirm E398 work on 1800 MHz and 2600Mhz, same as MF91) thumbup.gif
